I really appreciate all firewill plane mods high quality content, it's a blessing to the community.
One suggestion I have though:
Can we have all the skin variations moved to paintjobs (right click the plane in editor -> edit apprearances -> paintjob selection)?
Right now the skin variations clutter the editor faction list, serving no purpose as I don't really care about skin texture differences like this one from 1st marine corp or that one is 73th army. It just served no purpose in game.
The turkey feathers have been removed from most aircraft using the P&W F100 engines but newer F-15 variants powered by F110-GE-129 engines have them although they are a bit different in design. On a hypothetical F-15SE it would make sense to have them just because they would help with signature reduction.
The main reason they were removed on the P&W engines is because they required a lot of maintenance since they took a lot of abuse from the airflow back there. P&W apparently developed stronger composite turkey feathers for the F100-PW-229 first introduced on the F-15E but the USAF didn't buy them.
Anyway thanks for all the great addons.
