KotOR 2 is better than 1 in my opinion, but unfinished. The Restored Content Mod makes it far better, however. I also like how large the modding scene is, and the fact that it recently got an update with Steam Workshop, giving it far more potential.

I actually KotoR 2 is better for more mature audience. KotOR is a classic fairy tale of a hero and his saving of the world/galaxy or whatever. I'm not saying it's bad, it's not, I love the first game, but the second one is better for more mature audience and Star Wars nerds like me, because it dwells deeply in matters of the Force, philosophy of Jedi and the Sith, how they are not much different from each other. This game is just very dark and has many shades of gray. I love it. I finished it first time 10 years ago when I was like 13 and I didn't really like it, I thought the first one was way more awesome. Now I play it again and I get into the characters and what they say, it's much more better experience. Back then I did not understand any of what Kreia is saying. And back then there was no Restored Content mod.

Optional: Realize KOTOR 2 is way better anyway
