Star Wars

In the days of the Old Republic the color of your blade signified your role in the Jedi Order. Purple blades symbolised their users' connection to both sides of the force. As a literal combination of the blue and red blades. The user, like their lightsaber, contains both the light and dark sides of the force. In the Jedi order, purple blades signified someone who had at one point embraced the dark side of the force, but returned to the light. The blade color reminds them of their past.

Famous redeemed jedi and wielders of the purple blade:
  • Mace Windu
  • Revan
  • Mara Jade Skywalker

Part of the L4D2 Star Wars Project from Nicky_Da_B. This is a weapon mod that replaces the frying pan model with a purple single bladed lightsaber. Live out your Star Wars fantasy in L4D2 today!

Posted an update:
- upgraded texture to have additive blend properties.
- added a material proxy to give the blade a bit of an animated pulse.
- fixed a z drawing bug
- fixed a texture path bug
