Good afternoon gentlemen

Operation Dardanelles was a success. Stratis has been captured and secured. In large part thanks to your team's lead. However the task force's primary objective remains Altis. We can now use Stratis as a launch point for operations against OPFOR on Altis. Of course we are still waiting for the USS tripoli to arrive to allow for a full amphibious assault. While we wait, your team will be utilised as it was on Stratis, clearing the way for the main invasion. Sniper team Irony is already on Altis, scoping out Kavala. Today we are sending you in to meet up with Irony for your first op.

MISSION

The town of Kavala is a focal point for BLUFOR smuggling operations into Altis. And right now OPFOR is puting a lot of energy into closing off this access point for us. They are trying to be cost effective and have outsourced this task to a local paramilitary gang known originally as the Black Berrets, who have been uparmed by OPFOR. They are led by a man named Demeter. Today you are to land on Altis, and eliminate Demeter. The Black Berrets also have a confirmed arms cache that is being supplied by OPFOR. It is an optional objective, but will help shut down this gang.

TASKS

You will land at Edessa overnight, and seek out Demeter in the morning. Irony has identified 3 safehouses being used by the black berrets. They don't have a fix on Demeter, but he is expected to be at one of the safehouses. You will have to seek him out. The gang's weapons cache has been identified. Destroy it at your discretion. You can use the recon drone to help spot your targets. With fuel shortages for civilians, there won't be many cars about, but do expect civilian foot traffic.

Once the objective is complete, head inland and lay low to await further instructions.

MISSION PARAMETERS

1. Approach Kavala.
2. Seek out and kill Demeter at one of his 3 safehouses.
3. If capable, destroy the weapons cache.
4. Head inland.
