This guide is for all the people that are tired of waiting until mod , map or whatever gets updated!

Its pretty simple!

1. You need a programm called Notepad and your game folder from Call to Arms.

2.Search the file called mod info and open it with Notepad

3.When opened you should see 4 lines with stuff wrote in it

The 1. line contains the name of the mod , nothing to change here.
The 2. line contains the Description of the mod in the workshop , nothing to change here either!
The 3. line contains the Min. Game version , no need to change it but you can if you want.
The 4. line is the most importent one , it contains the Max. Game version , change it to the latest game version and it should work!

After that you only need to save it and your done!

The mod.info file is located in each mod , you find your mod folder under Steam\steamapps\common\Call to Arms\mods
If it still dont work its some special mod or a bigger one.

This method doesen t work with every mod! You need to try it out yourself!

UPDATE: heres the actual link

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content

From here, its really guess work to find the mod you want to update.
All mods have the mod.info file (turns into just "mod" after you mess with it).

So you are just changing the version of the mod?

If only other games would learn from this

thanks a lot! It is true that I did not change the mod version in call to arms, only in Men of War assault squad 2, but thanks and nice that it works on CtA and MoW AS.

I cant find the mod in my mod folder(Not in steam but in File Explorer). I am not able to update mods because of it. How can I fix this?
