Trove is one of those games that has a small team compared to most online multiplayer games, and as such Trove has relatively long periods of server maintenance and downtime. While the devs do their best to keep it short and occasionally give away flask coins and such as a sorry-gift, you will have a hard time doing anything "Trovey" in between uptimes. So this guide helps you fight the boredom while being busy with trove!

This site shows you if the server is online, and usually estimates when it will be back online. It also features a chat system so you can talk to fellow trovians while waiting.

And while trovesaurus has some wikia aspects, trove.wikia.com is a better and more organized source of information, though it is often outdated and lacks information. So there's something to do! Help the community by updating the wiki on anything you know about trove. Adding small details or writing entirely new pages, doesn't matter as long as you share your knowledge.

Same as previous chapter: Share your knowledge! Write a steam guide on how to do interesting stuff like dragon mounts or fun builds or what to do when the servers are down. It passes time pretty nicely while you wait for your blocky journey to continue. It is also a great way to give people free class coins and to get your refer-a-friend rewards.

Just as I said, draw! Make some nice fan-art to be proud of. Even if you think you can't draw, there's a way to get better. By drawing! Just grab a piece of paper and start drawing those mushrooms trying to punch your Candy Barbarian, or if you have a better idea just go ahead and draw it! Trovesaurus occasionally showcases nice fanart and such, perhaps you can be featured on the front page!

Make in-game items using Troxel! Available at the trove site, you can make your own items and submit them to the developers, and maybe you will see your own creations in game. Dungeons and Castles, Silly hats and weird weapons, anything will do. They are submitted on reddit and there you can find other people's creations as well, some are very fun too see.
