It's one thing to abandon a mod, that's annoying but I can understand. To pull your stuff and deny the community access unless you've got a bloody good reason (like a lawsuit or similar) then you're just a selfish ass. And I say this as someone who still has mods for the original rFactor and even some for GPL available online.

One of my absolute recommendations is the F1 2013 mod. All the cars very detailed, all the tracks, great physics and single player support.
