描述
A custom main menu (and loading screen) background that I whipped up within less than 10 minutes. Image is from the Half Life Wikia Page[half-life.wikia.com].

The image was flipped horizontally due to text not being completely visible over over the bright parts to the right (relative to the flippage).

Another way to have a HL2:EP2 background is to run the game, and type in the console "map_background ep2 ep2_background01".

Something like a mod that loads up existing background maps from HL2 to EP2 in random order. That would be interesting to see.

fyi you can actually make it load the map on startup if you know what you're doing

Well i notice they take a background map that looks like it is from an area like trainstation, canals, prison that sort of thing so you could take it out of episode 2 since i think its just an edited version of that map
than again i have never made an addon so i could be wrong

i think to animate it you'd have to put it in a map than place a camera of some sort looking at it
also this is a loading screen replacer so you should include that in the title
