Scarab - Drone Carrier Support Ship

This is my first published ship in SE. The ship is full vanilla with no modded parts.

Ship Features:

- large open drone bay
- automated drone repair welders
- 4 fighter drones
- 4 sentry drones
- 4 mining drones
- 2 repair drones
- 2 salvage drones
- 8 large cargo containers
- 4 large reactors
- 2 upgraded refineries
- 2 arc furnaces
- 2 assemblers
- 2 jump drives
- lots of thrust
- solar/battery backup power supply
- survival ready (sealed air tight interiors)

What this ship lacks:

- forgot to add medbay
- drones work but are underpowered (need design modification)
- scripts (a later version will include scripts)
- cargo sorting
- no beacon
- no connectors for other ships to dock
- didn't finish windows on bottom of drone bay
- needs more control seats for all drones

Ship quirks:

- sometimes for unknown reasons all drone connectors unlock (game bug I assume) Make sure before using jump drive that all drones are locked. Increasing lock strength may help but remember to lower it again before trying to dock a drone or the magnetic pull could damage the drone or connector.

- as mentioned above, drones are underpowered and subject to overloading. The drones are operational but need to be redesigned for more power or replaced by your own drone creations. (a future update will include better drones)

General info:

This ship was designed as a drone carrier. The exterior weapons systems include some gattling turrets and some interior turrets. In combat situations this ship will probably not do well alone. This ship is intended to operate as fleet support however it is mostly constructed with heavy armor blocks. (just not very deep armor)

To be effective in combat, this ship requires a crew. (Carrier pilot, and operators for each drone, repair crew might be good too)
