Introduction
Hello everybody! Here is a little guide that will hopefully help you get some achievements. I am not a native English speaker so I apologize for all the English mistakes I probably made. If you have any suggestion to improve the guide or find any mistake don't hesitate to tell me.
Game Related Achievements

Instruction: Clear 100 columns.

You should get this achievement pretty quickly by playing through the campaign. All levels have at least 10 columns so you should get it before getting to the 10th level. You can see the progression of the achievement on the game stats screen (Click on the trophy icon in the top left of the screen) under "Columns Cleared".

Instruction: House 25,000 people.

Caribou City starts with a population of 500k inhabitants. Each time you play a point collecting card (mostly green cards) in the campaign or in a custom game you raise the population of the city. (Cards played by your opponent during a VS game doesn't count) The value of the tile it's placed on doesn't affect the number of inhabitants gained but the rarest card increase the population way more that the starting cards. For example, "houses" (tier I) raises the population by ~30 while "Praetoria" (tier VI) raises the population by ~550. Playing a custom game in solo mode in endless is probably your best way to raise the population as much as possible. You can check the progression of the achievement on the game stats screen under "Total People Housed" or in the top right of the campaign screen. (You'll get the achievement when reaching 525k)

Instruction: Create 100,000 jobs.

Very similar to the previous achievement. You create jobs by playing job creating buildings (mostly red/blue/purple cards) and the rarer the card, the more jobs you create. (Cards played by your opponent during a VS game doesn't count) You can check the progression of the achievement on the game stats screen under "Total Jobs Created".

Instruction: Build 20 landmarks.

Landmarks are tier VI buildings. To get the achievement you have to play 20 of these cards in total (not necessary in one session). There are three ways to get landmarks:
  • By using tier VI skills.
  • In the card shop after getting enough technology to reach tier VI.
  • By using the effect of "Concert Hall", a card you can only get with Laney's "Twist & shout" skill (Tier V)

One of the quickest way to get this achievement is to use Yves Laurent's skills. Start a custom game in solo mode with Yves in Endless with the maximum starting purchase. Put some "Factory"/"Wholesaler" cards in your deck (they give the most economy among tier I cards). Start the game by purchasing the "Particular" skill which will allow you to change one card in the card shop for the rest of the game. Then, purchase as many cards as possible to raise your technology. You can ignore all of your skills except:
  • "Science O'Matic" (Tier III): Gives you +3 technology.
  • "A Bit O This, a Byte O That" (Tier III): Gives you a "Server Farm" card that can give you up to +6 economy each time you play it.
Focus on purchasing cards that gives you high economy or bonus purchases in order to raise your technology faster. Here are the cards you should look for:

Tier II:

Tier III:

Tier IV:

Tier V:

Once you get to tier VI, you can finally buy landmarks if you're lucky enough to get them in the cardshop (Yves' "Particular" skill will really help here) or, you can also get three landmarks thanks to Yves' skills. Once you play your 20th landmark, the achievement will unlock. You can check the progression of the achievement on the game stats screen under "Landmarks Built". Also, note that you can do everything in VS mode instead of solo mode. You'll need less technology to reach tier VI but you'll have to deal with the AI.
XP Farming Achievements

Instruction: Unlock your first card.

Instruction: Unlock all cards.

To get these achievements, you'll need to earn experience. You get experience each time you finish a game in the campaign or in custom mode. If it's a solo/classic game, you'll earn an amount of experience equal to your final score (if your score isn't negative). If it's a VS game, you'll earn your final score multiplied by 20~60 depending of the AI difficulty.

The quickest way to gain experience is, once again, playing an endless solo custom game. At the beginning of the game, concentrate on making combos. Combos x7 will give you 640 bonus points. Once you get further in the game, concentrate more on getting a lot of points in one column. This will give you up to 99*99=9801 points.

Each time you gain a level (before level 20) you'll unlock a new starter card.

Level 1: Unlock "Wholesaler"

Level 2: Unlock "Grove"

Level 3: Unlock "Youth Club"

Level 4: Unlock "Greenhouse"

Level 5: Unlock "Coal Power Plant"

Level 6: Unlock "Cemetery"

Level 7: Unlock "Gym"

Level 8: Unlock "Canal"

Level 9: Unlock "Electronic Plants"

Level 10: Unlock "Telephone Exchange"

Level 11: Unlock "Substation"

Level 12: Unlock "Clinic"

Level 13: Unlock "Workshop"

Level 14: Unlock "Homeless Shelter"

Level 15: Unlock "Motel"

Level 16: Unlock "Golf Course"

Level 17: Unlock "Diner"

Level 18: Unlock "Tennis Court"

Level 19: Unlock "Community College"

Level 20: Unlock "Sell Land"
Campaign Achievements

Instruction: Get 2 stars on all campaign levels.

Instruction: Get 3 stars on all campaign levels.

There are two types of levels: Solo/Classic and VS. I don't have a specific guide for each individual levels but here are some general tips.

For Solo/Classic levels: The best way to make a score big enough to get three stars is to make combos. If you clear several columns in a row by reaching their target number you'll get bonus points:
  • +20 for a 2x combo.
  • +40 for a 3x combo.
  • +80 for a 4x combo.
  • +160 for a 5x combo.
  • +320 for a 6x combo.
  • +640 for a 7x combo or more.
Therefore, getting 7x combos is your best way to get as many points as possible. A way to set up these combos is to start by filling the first column until you're one house away from clearing it. Here is an example:

Then, fill the other columns until you reach each of their target numbers.

Finish by filling the first column and get the combo bonus points.

Repeat for the rest of the level and it should be enough to get all three stars in these levels.

For VS levels: The best way to make a score big enough to get three stars in these kinds of levels is to steal your opponent's points. If you find a good column where your opponent started getting some point and you have good cards with you, then go for it! The AI will very often try to fight for the control of the column which will result in a lot of points put in a single column. Just like this:

It's risky, but it's the best way to make a lot of points. Laney's cards like "Gazebo" and "Spectacular Renovation" helps a lot and are available very early into the game. As a general strategy, concentrate more on getting points rather than making your opponents loose his points.
Building Clearing Achievements

Instruction: Clear a building with a value of -8.

The easiest way to get this achievement is to use an "invert" card.

Just make a building with a value of 8+ and use "invert" on it. You'll get the achievement once you clear it. To get an invert card you have to use Rick Selfridge's "Turn that frown upside down" skill (tier III) or Giles Butterworth's "Turn that smile to a frown" skill (tier IV). It's obviously faster and easier to get Rick's one, especially if you do it in a custom game with 6 starting purchases.

Instruction: Clear a column with a total value of 50+.

Instruction: Clear a building with a value of 50+.

You can get these achievements by following the instructions for getting a building with a value of 99. If it's a little too difficult, here is an easiest way (but relying a lot on luck) to get a building with a value of 50+. (which will also get you both achievements)

Start a custom game in endless solo mode with 6 starting purchases using Laney Thompson. Buy the "Royale With Cheese" Achievement then play and increase your technology until you reach tier IV. After this, clear the playfield and try getting a high number of purchases. The "Six Seasons & a Movie!" skill will help you for that. For example:

Then, that's when you'll need luck because you'll need to get a "Museum" or an "Art Gallery" card from the shop and still got at least 2 purchases left.

If you got lucky enough to get one of these two cards and you still have at least 2 purchases left, get two "Observatory" cards using Laney's "Observe This!" skill.

If you got a "Museum" card: Use it to duplicate your "Obesrvatory" cards. Then, set them up such that a tile get all the points and finish by putting a townhouse on it. If you did it correctly, you'll get 2*((TargetNumber+1)*4) points. So, with a target number of at least 6, you'll get your 50+ points. If your target number is 5, you'll only need to add one point to your townhouse. it's unlikely that your target number will be 4 or less.

Edit: As of 1.1.2, "Museum" is now a tier V card. The combo still work but is now harder to get.

If you got an "Art Gallery": Place your "Observatory" cards such that a tile get all the points, put a townhouse on it then use the art gallery to increase it's multiplier. You'll get 3*(2*TargetNumber+3) points. With a target number of at least 7, you'll get 50+ points. With a target number of 6 you'll need 2 points and with a target number of 5 you'll need 4 points. Once again, it's easy to get them using Laney's cards and skills. (Like "Gazebo" or "Spectacular Renovation")

You'll get both achievements on completion of the column.

Instruction: Clear a building with a value of 99.

Depending of how lucky you are, there are a lot of different ways of doing this achievement. The method I will give you is not the easiest one but has the advantage of not relying on luck at all.

Start a custom game in endless solo mode with 6 starting purchases using Laney Thompson. Buy the "Royale With Cheese" skill then play and increase your technology until you reach tier VI WITHOUT buying the "Six Seasons & a Movie!" skill (tier IV), the "Observe This!" skill (tier IV) and the "High Society" skill (tier VI).

After doing this, clear the playfield then get a "Movie Studio" using the "Six Seasons & a Movie!" skill (tier IV). This will give you three purchases. Use them to activate the "Observe This!" skill (tier IV) twice then the "High Society" skill (tier VI). You'll get two "Observatory" cards and a "Remy Ave." card. Place your "Observatory" cards such that a tile get all the points, put your "Remy Ave." card on it and you'll get 4*((TargetNumber+1)*2) points. A target number of 12 will give you 99+ points. Nevertheless, it's more likely that your target number will be lower, probably more than 8, meaning that you'll need to add up to 7 points to your "Remy Ave.". It's not really hard with Laney's buff abilities. For example, "Gazebo" (tier I skill), "Spectacular Renovation" (tier II skill) and "Tennis court" (Unlocked at level 18) cards can make this really easy.

If you're still a little afraid you won't be able to reach 99 you can wait until your target number gets higher to do this method. Once the column gets cleared, you'll get the achievement.
Misc. Achievement

Instruction: Play versus mode for the first time.

Go to "Custom Game", choose "VS", configure your game however you want then start the game. You'll get the achievement as soon as you start the game. You don't even need to actually play it until completion.

Good stuff. The guide for getting the level 99 building helped. I found it easiest to go into Vs mode against no oppenents. That way I didn't have to worry about completing every Row etc.
