** Made a few edits to this guide to correct the YouTube video, so you should now be able to click the video and also having a larger preview window, also added annotation to video explaining the downside of reaching 3rd stage of overcharge, Enjoy!!

p.s working on the written guide.

Hey all, thought I would give my first attempt doing a video guide, on the Basics of Bright Wizard mechanic for anyone who is still a little confused by the Mechanic... If you are not confused then your support and feedback is appreciated still and will continue to put more videos out as this is a great game!

Quick Reference to Key points of VID
  • You only take damage by VENTING, and this is only whilst VENTING in 2nd (Yellow) and 3rd (red) stage of Overcharge.
  • VENTING is twice as fast in the Yellow and Red stage compared the Green stage
  • Once at the Max over charge meter you have 3 choices;
    1) Cast 1 more spell, Primary or Secondary, and you will detonate and kill yourself whilst doing Area of effect damage around yourself.
    2) VENT at the cost of small health loss and Spam spells out again (particularly good for a constant Horde mechanic like on Tower of Magnus mission) be careful though, if your nearly dead already VENTING can kill you.
    3) Switch to Melee attacks but you will receive a Penalty to attack speed in the Red zone (approx 75% overcharge)
  • You should Melee as often as possible, using spells mostly on Specials and Hordes, and even still a mixture of Melee and spells during horde is good practice.

    Additional info

  • Some staffs and spells have a build up time, if there is nothing to cast it at - or its an overkill - this is bad Overcharge management, just release RIGHT click and it will dissipate.
  • There is Audio cues at 25% and 75% and the Flames get more vivid - ultimately look at your UI

Nice tips, some of these tips should be in the loading screens, the devs really failed with those. 95% of them are dwarf language lore.

Thanks for the support чемпион выходные, but I shall listen to his feedback and edit the post slightly, maybe I should disclaim I am first and foremost a gamer and do not practice written English, that stopped after I left school. :)

I can't take a comment seriously from a guy that's acting like a dick and can't use proper grammar.
