Its a widely known fact that Mad Max isn't so much set an apocolyptic future as it is just found footage of life in modern Australia. The rest the world is regular and fine, its only Australia that's this rampaging wasteland of crazy people in cars. There's that part in Fury Road where a character ponders if satellites would ever broadcast television again. Truth be told they still do! ... there's just nothing in Australia to relay satellite signals to. You got people in New Zealand living quaint peaceful lives sipping tea with musical ballads playing dinner music to the lovely attendants in tuxedos and flower dresses, meanwhile next door the entirety of Australia is a neverending montage of car chases, explosions, guitar solos, baldness and Bruce Spence.

And its all because of that cursed 18+ rating system the Australian people constantly demanded! The Australian Government had been right all along! The moment people became exposed to the ultra-violence of hyper-realistic rampage simulators like Saints Row IV and 50 Cent: Bulletproof, they immediately took to their cars and encroached the entire nation with desctruction and cataclysm in a harmonious soliloquy of rubber, akubras and Bruce Spence.

Its said to be a car so dazzling and powerful that just being inside it can drive you mad from the intense euphoria and Australian overtones; You'd be a regular human being one day and after driving around in that thing come out with the thickest Australian accent saying "Call me figjam eh!
