And yes, a second engine is not mandatory for the X2000, but looks much better on the line I wanted to use it. But now I swith to the X6-Series. Thanks for the answer and your great trains.
I remember that I had to adjust the offset between the engine and the first car when I configured this train in the asset editor to prevent a gap from appearing. That should have fixed that problem and as you can see in the screenshots, there is no big gap there for me.
Are you replacing the last car with and engine using a mod? I'm guessing that there could be gap issues if that was done. If not, then there are some changes to the models I could try to make.
