Star Wars Red Lightsaber [Baseball Bat]

In the days of the Old Republic the color of your blade signified your role in the Jedi Order. Red blades were the exception. Red blades were synthetic crystals created to be more powerful and deadly than the natural crystals. As such they were often used by the Sith. Red crystals weren't unheard of in the Jedi Order, but due to their association to the Sith, there was a taboo associated with using them.
