解説
Am I the only one who have a bad habit of pronouncing abbreviations as if they were words? Instead of saying S-P-U-P-C-L-O, I say Spupclo for some reason. Maybe I'm just a bit thick, but hey, I can atleast build interchanges! This is a SPUPCLO, a brilliant creation by Scott Oglesby on kurumi.com. The abbreviation stands for Single Point Urban Partial CLOverleaf, and it does share a few characteristics with the SPUI (Single Point Urban Interchange). Like the name says, the interchange has a "single point", only one at-grade intersection. All other ramps merge in a free-flowing fashion, meaning that traffic will only have to stop at one single intersection. Pretty neat, huh? What makes it even more awesome is the fact that they've actually built one of these "concept interchanges" for once! http://g.co/maps/4d5k2

================================================================

Advantages:
+ It's basically the improved version of the A-4 Parclo, retaining most of its qualities
+ Managing a single intersection makes minor upgrades easier (for example, dedicated lanes)

Disadvantages:
- Not as upgrade-friendly as the A-4 Parclo, when it comes to major upgrades
- Larger than most service interchanges

================================================================

Cost: 24 330
Upkeep: 270 / week

In-game description: No, Spupclo is not the name of Cthulhu's cousin who haunts highways. Its confusing layout might haunt your head, though.

"Am I the only one who have a bad habit of pronouncing abbreviations as if they were words?"
Well, no. A few reasons though:

1. an abbreviation is a shortended version of a word, and it is a word (Dr. for doctor, for instance. Or Prof. for Professor, Mr. for Mister) They almost always (from what I can tell, all of them) have a period at the end. So, an abbreviation is a word.
2. What you described above is an acronym, which is made by taking the "first letter" (sometimes first couple). They are almost never a word, and often convey a scientific/ technical concept.

So, what you were saying is "bad habit of pronouncing acronyms as words". Still, you aren't.
Firstly, some words are acryonyms. LASER, RADAR (also only acronym that's a palindrome!), LIDAR, SCUBA, and a few others, are acryonyms. They just are so common (and easy to say) that they became words. But, often, even when you run across an acronym, unless separated by periods (like R.A.D.A.R.), which is one format of it, you just instinctively read it as a word!

So, no, you aren't!

tl;dr
No, you aren't the only one

I can drive to fontana and experience this myself, but then that means I actually have to drive to and through fontana...

You should watch some Richard Herring some time... in particular, RHLSTP. Though he would frown on your use of all three letters "CLO".

@Timboh: This is our interchange in Belgium, Menen. We locals call it the 'Dogbone' interchange because of it's shape. https://www.google.be/maps/@50.7704251,3.1901079,18z

@Frienda: Do you have a link to that interchange? I looked for it on Google Maps but I can't seem to find any interchange that I haven't already made.
