What Is Orange and Who Plays on it ?
I'm not gonna be updating this because i'm fat and lazy

Hullo
This is my first guide and it's a guide for surviving the hordes of crit orange “players”.I will be covering most of the players that can be found in these servers. If you don't know what Orange or cp_orange is ,well then I'm here to tell you.Team fortress 2 has a type of addcond or state your weapon can be which is causes your weapons bullets to cause crit shots or critical shots. It can already happen within normal tf2 wether it is through the means of power ups or just a random .Having crits greatly increases the damage output on one’s weapons ,and that's about it.You might not realise how much of a diffrence a little extra damage does ,but trust me It makes a difference .Now you must be thinking why would you venture into such a vile land ? Well we all might have our reasons for going there. For example I like to go there to attempt to bring justice and help the players by killing everyone in them.In doing so i hope that the players won’t return. The servers themselves are basically predecessor to the beta gamemode mann power which is a rather … immoral and unbalanced game mode ? I’m not really sure how to describe but all i can say it isn’t a very “fun” gamemode. In normal tf2 you can die quickly but in crits it’s kind of like most modern shooters where you die in just a few hits. It is rather sad knowing some people actually play crits as a normal game mode. While i may have semi-retired from cleansing these servers i hope i can teach some sane people how to clean and survive in them. This guide won’t include every single weapon with crits because all crits is , is your base weapon’s stats +300%.This guide will more be covering the types of “players” or Savages that you might encounter.Keep in mind this is the experience i had and this is my way of surviving in these parts ,it may be different for you. Also i apologize in advance if there are any spelling or grammatical mistakes because i am rather lazy and tend to not be bothered to fix them BUT if you find any be sure to let me know so i may fix them.

The type of Players and how to deal with them

I’d like to believe that these servers are split into 4 main categories ,The common try hard , the casual player ,The pro and the 4th category which is just random crap that doesn’t fit into the other 3
The Common Crit Players (TryHards)
The common crit Player

The most common type of crit player is what a lot of people like to call a tryhard; They are the type of player that only cares about one thing and that’s killing .When i see these players it’s hard to imagine that there is an actual person behind that keyboard. When i say tryhards i’m not referring to the people who plainly kill ,i’m talking about the people who don’t talk and only m1 towards you. That is the type of scum that infests crits. All they care about is ending the life of everything they see ,if they see an object with the opposite team colour as them in the distance they tend to just blindly shoot in it’s direction. While admittedly when playing with proper people crit orange can be a quite fun time waster. These “players” like to play as all classes with the most common classes being scout and sniper and the least common being Medic and Spy.
Offensive TryHards
Try Hard Scout:

First you got Scouts which are one of the most popular classes to play in orange since they have an insane damage output and a ridiculous speed boost. When up close they m1 with whatever shotgun they can get their hands on.If they see you in the distance they will blindly shoot at you with their pistols. While you might think this isn’t a big problem but you need to remember that this is crits orange ,so the each pistol pellet does -45 damage. If you are good at dodging and good at aiming they won’t be too much of a problem even tho I always considered scouts to be one of the most dangerous out of the 9 classes in these servers so be careful when fighting them.If you know how to kill them they’ll only be a problem if you get surprise attacked , peppered or attacked in swarms otherwise they’re just a nuisance that can be taken care of.If you see them in a horde or by themselves it's best to focus on killing them first.

- Very Common
Danger: High
Main Weapon(s): ScatterGun/ Force Of Nature/ ShortStop or Stock Pistol

Try Hard Soldier:

Next up you got soldiers. Soldiers are easy to kill but will probably end up killing you in the process so it is advised to stay away. They will shoot franticly with crockets in all directions. If you end up close to one then your best bet is to shoot them while dodging or running away.If you run close to them ,they won’t switch to their melee or secondary.Nope they’ll shoot you and take both of you out.Much like M+W1 pyros they won’t use their secondary unless they run out of ammo and won’t use their melees since they don’t live that long.Soldiers in groups can be rather overwhelming but aren’t to bad.

- Very Common
Danger: Medium
Main Weapon(s): All Rocket Launchers

TryHard Pyro:

Then we got pyros. These tryhards will are like your standard M1+W pyros. Except that if you let them let to close it’s an instant death. They will rarely use their shotguns (even tho it’s extremely useful in crits orange). They tend to only use their flame thrower unless they run out of ammo or they happen to be dead. They are fairly easy to kill and don’t require too much skill to take care of (unless it is a shotgun pyro which i will talk about later)

- Common
Danger: Low
Main Weapon(s): FlameThrowers

Defensive TryHards
Try Hard DemoMan:

Demomen are quite common but are relatively easy to kill. Demonmen normally to play like normal demos except that the sticky spam is even more real.Demoknight hybrids are also very common. There are also chances that you’ll have flying demos with the sticky spam mixed with the basejumper.Normal demoknights are rather rare to find with the demoknight either being the top player or one of the people with 0 points. If you keep your distance you’ll be fine.BUT demo spawn camping is very common and there isn’t much of a counter to it.

- Very Common
Danger: Low - High
Main Weapon(s):All Demo Weapons

Try Hard Heavy:

Heavies much like engies aren’t too common but they definitely can be found.Heavies either try to play the game like normal tf2 or they sit in front of spawn trying to guard it like some sort of a human sentry without the rockets.Since they are slow they shouldn’t be a problem and since your weapons do an insane amount of damage they can easily be taken care of. Just stay out of their sight and shoot them from a distance.Or you can sneak up on them and easily kill them.

- Common
Danger: Low - Medium
Main Weapon(s):Miniguns

Try Hard Engineer:

Engies aren’t too common but also aren’t rare. These engies have various techniques of surviving. If they happen to be using the gunslinger they like to place their gun slinger and quickly run.If they are using their normal wrench they like to create nests and camp somewhere. When it comes to engies they either spam their shotgun or spam their pistol from a distance and try to bait players to come to their nests. As stated before the pistol is a deadly weapon if you pepper people from a distance and the shotgun can be devestating if used up close; So engies can be annoying but since they aren’t too common they won’t be too much of a problem.

- Semi Common
Danger: Medium
Main Weapon(s):ShotGuns Or Stock Pistol
Support TryHards
Try Hard Medic:

I’m not even sure if these players exist since i think i only saw them a few times.Medics aren’t a prefered class but are actually quite common. The medics don’t tend to be played by the regular crit try hard but rather people just playing it casually or people who don’t know what gamemode they are in.Since regular crit medic players aren’t very common i’m not quite sure what there prefered weapons and tactics are.I would assume they play like regular combat medics which isn’t too bad.All i can say is don't get let them empty a clip in you and don’t get impaled by the crossbow.

- Very Rare
Danger: Medium - High
Main Weapon(s): CrossBow and Syringe Gun

Try Hard Sniper:

Then you got snipers. If you're lucky their aim tends to be complete garbage so if you strafe and jump you’ll be fine.If you are less fortunate then they’ll end up doing a lot of damage and since all sniper rifles are hitscan weaponry you’re going to end up talking quite some damage. With a normal body shot doing -150 damage and a charged body shot being a 1 hit kill.I don’t recommend crouching since these players anyway don’t aim for the head. They normally shoot from a distance rarely getting close unless they are maining their SMGs , which can be annoying but shouldn’t be a big problem. Not much i can say about them since they aren’t a big problem and they aren’t easy to kill either.

- Very Common
Danger: High
Main Weapon(s): All Rifles and SMGs

Try Hard Spy:

If you are playing as sniper or engie ,spy is the last resort raging or revenge seeking players use. They like to pepper you with their revolvers which do -120 damage which close to the sniper rifle.Except that unlike the sniper rifle the revolvers can be spammed so just hope their aiming is bad (which it usually is).Luckily spies have very little health so they can be easily be taken care of.If you happen to be unlucky the spies could be using the enforcer which can 1 hit kill most classes.

- Semi Rare
Danger: Medium - High
Main Weapon(s): All revolvers excluding the L’etranger
The Normal or Casual Player
The Casual/Average Player

“Casual” players are players like you and me who like to play various types of game modes in tf2 and don’t take it to seriously. These players can be either really good or get completely destroyed by the hordes of crit tryhards. They like to taunt a lot and sometimes like to be friendly just like normal tf2 players. They use most of their weapons and play as almost every class ,but then again finding these players can be rather difficult.

Offensive Casuals

Casual Scout:

They play like normal scouts with frequent double jumping and a nice mix of using their pistols and using their scatterguns. They’ll even use flying guillotines or mad milk if they want to help their team of mindless creatures. They use their bat and sometimes will pepper you with their pistols.Their difficulty really depends on who is playing as them. They sometimes use their projectile melees as well but it’s rather rare that you’ll see them do this. They can be annoying to kill since they can actually dodge but they aren’t to bad.

- Rare
Danger: Low - High
Main Weapon(s): All Scout Weapons

Casual Soldier:

The casual soldier players is one of the more dangerous casual subspecies. As normal tf2 soldiers don’t have to change their playstyle for orange. They make use of their secondaries which are very usefull as some can cause resistance to the crit bonus making the enemies shoot you with normal bullets. If you got one with the battalion's backup or buff banner they can be an essiential for caping control points. One of theese with a combat medic is great ,and even if they don’t use a backpack secondary the shotguns do a good amount of damage upclose. They can be rather tanky if they have the right secondaries and can be even more tankie if they have a pocket medic taped to them so it’s best to try to kill them with multiple people or with a weapon that already has high base damage.

- Semi Common
Danger: Medium - High
Main Weapon(s): All Soldier Weapons ,Excluding Melees

Casual Pyros:

Casual Pyros use a good mix of their weaponry. They always use their secondary from a distance and if their prey comes to close then they switch to their powerful flamethrower. These pyros make good use of all their weapons and remember to airblast their burning teammates and tend to stay around the towers or pepper their victims out in the open.If up close with one and both of you are pyros just M1 for a couple of seconds then airblast them and switch to your secondary which should easily kill them in 1 or 2 hits.

- Common
Danger: Medium - Medium
Main Weapon(s): All Pyro Weapons ,Excluding Melees
Defensive Casuals

Casual DemoMan

Casual Demos are almost the exact same as tryhard demos (except these demos actually interact in chat or show a symptoms if being human). They use sticky spam ,they like to jump with the base jumper and slowly descend down while spamming stickies. They are rather unpredictable but they tend to just use the same techniques that the tryhard demos use. When fighting them just be cautious of their stickies and where their pills might roll. Also beware of shield bashing because it can be a 1 hit kill.

- Semi Common
Danger: High
Main Weapon(s): All Demo Weapons

Casual Heavy

The Casual Heavy is a lot like the try hard heavy and the normal tf2 heavy because in my eyes there are only 2 types of heavies:Friendly Heavies and Normal Heavies(and rage Heavies as well i guess). They like to be out in the open shoot their targets from a rather far range. They sometimes also like to pepper their targets from a distance or carry lunch boxes as orange doesn’t have many health kits.Since these players tend to have good aim it is advised to stay out of their sight and try to kill them before they realize you are there.Just be careful you don’t get caught in their firing range.

- Semi Rare
Danger: Medium
Main Weapon(s): All Heavy Weapons excluding Melees

Casual Engineers:

The Casual Engineers are the same as a combat engie except that this combat engie has 100% Crits. They run into battle placing their minisentries in the middle of the battlefield while picking off players with their shotguns and pistols. They also use their melee quite a bit if you get too close. While it might seem like using a melee weapon is unadvisable ,with 100%crits all your melees are a 1 hit kill.If done right casual engines can take out a lot of players. However much like try hard engies these engineers can also build nests and will try to trick you into walking near their sentry. If you stay away from the sentry and bait them away from their team they can easily be killed.

- Rare
Danger: Medium - High
Main Weapon(s): All Engie Weapons
Support Casuals

Casual Medic

The Casual Medics are just like the tryhard medics , rather rare to encounter. They are very similar to the try hard medics and like to be very upfront and attack their enemies. One of the main distinguishable features of the Casual Medic is the fact that they actually heal their teammates. They can be quite dangerous as their aiming is good and they’re good at healing their teammates. If you see one in a horde try to kill them second(always make the tryhard scout your main priority). When fighting them try not to be to close and just make sure to dodge their arrows with frequent jumping and crouching.

- Very Rare
Danger: High
Main Weapons(s): Mostly Crusader's Crossbow otherwise all medic weapons.

Casual Sniper

These snipers are good at aiming and usually score head shots. They like to camp in the tower or behind ramps and don’t like to be out in the open unless they are going SMG mode much like their TryHard brethren. They like to use crits as a training ground for aiming(that's what i did) which makes them a bit hesitant since they want to get DEM SICK HEADSHOTS so this makes they aiming a little twitchy. If you spot them first and you are good at aiming they aren’t too bad , but since that rarely happens they might 1 hit kill you so stay alert and behind cover if you see one and you can’t reach them.

- Semi Common
Danger: High
Main Weapon(s): All Sniper Weapons

Casual Spy

These spies are rather difficult to detect as they know how to efficiently use their cloak. They much like the casual snipers like to focus on getting headshots with their Ambassiderps. They sometimes like to be a bit risky and will try to get some backstabs but they usually end up dieing. If you know one is around be sure to look behind a lot and don’t try to be in the open.

- Rare
Danger: Low - Medium
Main Weapon(s): All Spy Weapons
The Pros
The Professional

Professionals are players who know how to play crits and have been playing it for a long amount of time while still being able to play normal tf2.They don’t try to focus on capturing but rather focus on trying to stop the tryhards.Professionals are basically like the good guy versions of the TryHards. The professional only focuses on killing everything except for the friendlies and the taunting players. They normally like to fight their enemies on a fair level so if the enemy tries to melee fight them they won’t M1 with the primary like the tryhard would but instead swap to their melee to fight on an equal playing field.Other than that they are mostly the same as the casual with the exceptions of rocket jumping ,good aim and efficient shotgun use.Theese players also tend to be rich.

Other "Players"
Other Players

I’m leaving this for the extra garbage that plays on these servers.People like friendlies ,traitors /griefers ,M1+Ws etc… So ill just cut to the chase instead of explaining what these players do.

Friendlies

I think we all know what friendlies are and even if you don’t know what friendlies are i’m pretty sure you’d figure it out judging by their name.Friendlies are the innocent players that only want to taunt and do uh… dumb things i guess. When i get bored i sometimes go friendly but it’s not something i would do that much which is what some players do.Spycrabs ,Hoovies rancho relaxo Engineers and other types of creatures fall under this category. The Friendlies in Crits aren’t too common as they usually just end up getting killed by tryhards till they rage and turn into a tryhard. So the strategy to fighting them is to not fight them but just ignore them. You can pass by them and taunt or say a voice command but this could leave you open for other hostiles to kill you , but be careful because if you get to close they might accidently kill you with a taunt.

- Rare
Danger: Near Harmless
Main Weapon(s): LunchBoxes or None.

Secondary Spammers

As the name implies these are players that only spam their secondary.I like to use the pyros shotgun as a primary so one might call me a secondary spammer but it can be quite effective as Engineer already has it as his primary. If they use the SMG or pistol They can easily kill you.If you decide to go secondary spamming i recommend using the Righteous Bison as it deals 45 damage per second a player is near / in the laser. If you are fighting a secondary spammer just treat them like their main class (unless it’s a medic because that clearly isn’t going to hurt you).

- Semi Rare
Danger: High
Main Weapon(s): Every Secondary

Traitors / Griefers

These players like to hurt their team kind of like spies. They will tele traps or exploits to screw over your or the enemy team.My favorite type of griefer is the one who builds a tele inside the enemies spawn because if you are a spy that’s always fun. When fighting griefers it really depends on what time of griefer they are.If they are on your team just try not to walk into their traps and try to camp at their tele (the one that leads to your spawn). If it’s a griefer on the enemy team try to use them as an advantage.

- Common
Danger: Low - High
Main Weapon(s): Everything

Mic Spammers

These much like griefers and friendlies can be found in normal tf2.These players just like to spam random sounds into chat.Or they are just plain stupid and leave their mics on by accident. Sometimes these players play music or scream which can be annoying. if you’re playing without sound they won't be a problem. If you are playing with sound just mute them or listen to them if that entertains you.

- Common
Danger: Low -High
Main Weapon(s): Voice Chat

Conclusion
I have definitely missed some essential player so feel free to add suggestions for what i should add next That's about it i might expand on this guide more and i might make a full survival guide on how to play crits orange as i like to "cleanse" them.Be sure to give me some good critisim back.I may have used some pictures that i didn't make and some of them may have been taken without asking so if any of these pictures are made by you be sure to let me know.

This look like players not creatures. Creatures are diffrent they follow a set of rules.
Players are people who use a type of loadout and or skill set
