The “Special Tutor” ending is a unique ending within the game that features a different heroine by the name of “Cabbage”. Her story route actually features 3 different endings, however, the “Special Tutor” ending is the best ending for her route as you will eventually go into a relationship with her as her personal tutor. Though the route is somewhat easy to unlock, there are certain requirements that you must follow in order to achieve this ending.

There are 3 major requirements that you must meet in order to unlock this ending. They are as followed:

• Have low ideal before and after the first simulation test
  
• Have a poor relationship with Muxin and get into a dispute with her after the first simulation test
  
• Fail the first simulation test.

You will also need to obtain and equip an item in-game called PC game quarterly during this play through in order to unlock the “Cabbage” story route. I will explain this with more details within the actual walkthrough.

Though it is not required, the “Memory of 1977” item will guarantee you the best ending for this achievement. During this route, you will lose a significant amount of your ability points and will have hardly any time to review and obtain a good score on Gaokao. In order to obtain the “Special Tutor” ending, you must have a good score on Gaokao. Without the “Memory of 1977” item, it will be near impossible to earn a good score on Gaokao and achieve this ending. You should refer to my other guide on how to get the “Memory of 1977” item if you do not already have it.

With that being said, all you need to do now is follow this walkthrough below in order to correctly obtain this unique achievement and ending.

I will divide this walkthrough into 2 parts for organization. Start a new game and skip through the dialogue. For this walkthrough, you will have to get low ideal, avoid Muxin as much as possible and fail the first simulation test. This walkthrough will not show you how to get the a good score on Gaokao without the "Memory of 1977" item since I assume that you have already obtained the item at this point.

On Day 99, set your attitude to Relaxed. After that, choose to relax.

On Day 98, choose to relax.

On Day 97, while on the date with Muxin, choose the option that says “Let’s just be together”.



On Day 96, choose to not drink the liquid. Do not call anyone. You can either sleep or go on a walk to the different location. You have the opportunity to obtain 3 different items from the different locations if you choose to do so. Going to the café will give you the “War within Three Kingdoms” item, going to the bookstore will give you the “Heart of HuangGang” item, and going to Center Park will give you the “Diamond Sutra” item.

On Day 95, choose to do the morning exercise causally. Afterwards, choose to relax.

On Day 94, choose to not look at the notice board. Afterwards, choose to relax. At night when you get offered to drink something by your mom, choose to not drink it.



On Day 93, choose to relax. At night, choose the option to do the extra papers casually.



On Day 92, choose to relax.

On Day 91, when Muxin is asked a question, choose to not interrupt her. Afterwards, choose to relax.



On Day 90, call Mr. Xi. Then take a walk to the Bookshop to receive an item called “Damn Gaokao”. This item will decrease your ideal somewhat so you can equip it if you want. It is not needed though.



On Day 89, call Stom. Afterwards, you can earn 3 different items once more by going to either the Café, Bookshop, or Center Park. If you go to the Café, you will get the “Mini Pillow” item, if you go to the Bookshop, you will get the item “Open the Door to Success”, and if you go to Center Park, you will get the item “War within Red Mansions”.

On Day 88, choose to do the morning exercise casually. Then choose the option to not let Muxin sleep. Then you must choose to relax because you will receive the item of “PC Game Quarterly” from Stom’s desk. The game won’t tell you that you actually received the item, but it will be in your inventory the next day, so don’t worry.



On Day 87, choose to do nothing when Muxin is eating in class. Afterwards, equip the item of “PC Game Quarterly” from your inventory as you will need this later on. Then choose to sleep.



On Day 86, when talking to Muxin, choose the option that says “I took a good rest”.

On Day 85, choose to take a nap. Then choose not to go with Stom. Lastly, choose to relax.



On Day 84, do not buy chocolate for Muxin. Then choose to relax.



On Day 83, choose the option that says “Forget it”. Then call Mr. Xi. Once again, you have the opportunity to obtain yet another 3 items by walking to different locations. If you go to the Café, you will get the “War within Marshes Hero” item, if you go to the Bookshop, you will get the “No then Die” item, and if you go to Center Park, you will get the “Cap of the Fallen” item.

On Day 81, choose to sleep.

On Day 80, do not eat Cokkie’s deadly cookie. Then choose to relax. At night, choose the option that says “I don’t have the courage”.



On Day 79, choose to sleep.

On Day 78, throw the ball into the dustbin normally. Then choose to relax.



On Day 77, choose to relax.

On Day 76, call Stom and Mr. Xi. You can get the item “License of the Rich” if you go to the Café and you can get the item “License of the Poor” if you go to the Bookshop.

On Day 75, call Stom and Mr. Xi. You can get the item “Amulet of Math” if you go to school and you can get the “Amulet of Chinese” if you go to Center Park. At night you will have a dream regarding Muxin. You must choose the option that says “I don’t trust you”.



On Day 74, choose to exercise casually. Then choose to sleep. Lastly, choose the option that says “No, I need to take a rest”.

On Day 73, choose to relax. Then choose to chase the mouse to the right side, towards Xiaohan.



On Day 72, choose to relax. Make sure you have low ideal by now. If not, equip any item that will lower your ideal.

On Day 69, equip “PC Game Quartely” if you haven’t already. Then choose to sleep.

On Day 68, you should get back your results from the first simulation test. If you did everything correctly to this point, you should have failed as planned.



On Day 67, choose to take a rest and do not look at the notice board. Then choose to sleep.

On Day 65, choose the option to see what is happening inside the toilet. Then choose to relax.



On Day 64, choose to relax.

On Day 63, choose the option that says “No, I have to talk to her”. This is a crucial step for the story so make sure you choose it. Then choose to sleep. Once again, make sure you have “PC Game Quarterly” equipped by now or else you will not enter “Cabbage” route.



If you did everything correctly, you should have gotten into an argument with Muxin and made her cry. This is the turning point of the story so make sure you save and equip “PC Game Quarterly”.

On Day 60, choose to sleep. This is your last chance to equip “PC Game Quarterly” or else you will not enter “Cabbage” line.

Once you past Day 60, the majority of the game will become dialogue heavy and there will be no chances to make any sort of decisions until later in the game. You can either skip it all or read it.

You will then take the second simulation test and you will more than likely fail it as well.

After you get past the majority of the story, you will finally have the opportunity to go back reviewing and make choices on Day 25.



On Day 25, equip the “Memory of 1977” item now so you will not forget. You no longer need to have the “PC Game Quarterly” item equipped. If you don’t have the “Memory of 1977”, you should have read this guide from the beginning stating that this walkthrough was meant only if you already had the item. If you do not have the “Memory of 1977”, you can try to review up until Gaokao, but it will be extremely difficult to get a good score this late into the game.



Once you finish this, you can choose to do anything for the rest of the week.

You will then have to make one final decision when you return to the net bar. You will be asked a question by the guild leader about “Cabbage” and what she means to you. You must choose the choice that says “Cabbage is the most important person to me”. This is extremely crucial, if you do not select this choice, you will not achieve the “Special Tutor” ending. It is important so choose this option.



After you made the choice, you will have the remaining days to do what you want. As long as you equip the “Memory of 1977” you will earn the “Special Tutor” ending.
