Dark Cloud Moon Room Prop Pack

A prop pack based on the moon areas from the game Dark Cloud.


I made these props for promoting a "Dark Cloud"-themed Pyro item I posted up to the workshop ages ago. The area shown above is a control room at moon base "Lemon Drops", a location from the aforementioned "Dark Cloud". It was rather difficult capturing the style of that area, so I ended up fudging the design instead.

All in all, not my finest work. Much of the cleanup work done on these props was more damage control than anything. These props were made in the before-times, when my Blender would crash every 5 minutes, and making a prop took several days, rather than hours.

However, you don't know if someone will want something from your prop pile until you put it out there. I'm fairly certain someone could get some use out of a nice computer chair or computer screen.

This is the last of the Dark Cloud/TF2 related stuff.

prp_ld_porthole.mdl
-A porthole to the outside, featuring a low quality moonscape.
-Has no backside.

prp_ld_computer.mdl
-A large generic computer screen with a green grid.
-The green grid is bodygrouped, and defaults to on.
-Has no backside.

prp_ld_computer_keyboard.mdl
-A large computer terminal keyboard, featuring a full set of keys and diodes.
-The keys are bodygrouped, and default to on.
-Features a full keyset with space rabbit typography on the keys.
-Has no backside.

prp_ld_stage.mdl
-A low quality bunker/room, used to contain all the props used in the scene above.

prp_ld_metal_ramping.mdl
-Large bolted metal ramping, presumeably used to cover cables and other utilities.
-Custom made to fit the prp_ld_stage prop.
-Has no backside.

prp_ld_metal_coils.mdl
-A set of exposed copper cables/coils.

prp_ld_computer_chair.mdl
-A moon man's computer chair.
-The seat is rigged and can be rotated around.
-Paintable seat

prp_treasure_box.mdl
-A scuffed up treasure box, roughly based on the treasure box from Dark Cloud.
-Contains a hinge bone, for opening/closing the box.



The props featured in this pack are based on objects from the game "Dark Cloud"/"Dark Chronicle", and is the intellectual property of "Sony Computer Entertainment".
