You need to buy :

Firstly go to the hub !

Secondly go to the Salwater Sam's Shop !

Thirdly buy a Basic Fishing Pole and some Lures

You need to do :

In your inventory left click on the fishing pole and click on learn !

Find a lake (or some water) !

Press your fishing key ( Default : F )

Wait and when the lure is shaking press your fishing key again !
