Description
If you tried making a skin for the van once, you had to realise that the UVmap was so odd, that making a good skin was almost impossible.

So i took it on myself to fix just that! The new UVmap, with a pre-made texture, allows you to individually edit both the left and the right side of the vehicle. Oh, and i also added the interior from the Dead-Air Van.

The download contains:
  • Pre-Made Addon, With proper Model/Texture folder setup.
  • A Photoshop save file for the skins.
  • An AOmap for the basic and one for the news van
  • An UVmap layout for the vans.
  • Blank textures ing PNG format

    The video is outdated, but still contains some more information about the vehicle, and how to make a skin for it. It just got a different texture.

    This download is not a mod. It's a prefab. If you download this, it will do nothing.
    You have to unpack the vpk to get to the files

    If i find one comment about "this mod is not working" i'm going to slap you.
    If i find comments about "how do i use this" I'll slap you twice because the description and the video both tell you what to do.

Thank you so much for this. I recently made a mod for the regular rusty van and improvised with a horizontally flipped logo on the side that mirrors the image and was pretty satisfied with the result albeit not optimal.

Then I tried doing same thing with the news van, where text is a must in my vision. And it was frustrating bussiness, even looking at other mods for reference. Then looking online my poor potato head was spinning: "blender? decopile, recompile, uv mapping, oh by Miku's twintails I just want to make a reskin"
