Create your pot
Follow the game's instructions to select your pot and starter plants.

Select plants by clicking on them. Deselect by clicking on empty space outside the pot.

Navigation:
The little circle at the bottom of the screen will bring up the menu. Appears only when you don't have plants selected, and you're zoomed out far enough. Click the:
- speaker button to turn on/off sound.
- house button to go to home menu aka Nursery Menu. The Nursery Menu has a light bulb button at the top right that gives you details of each option when you click on it.
- flower-down button to place plants in your inventory that you've bought or received.
Taking Care of Your Plants
1. Water your plants

Water plants by clicking on each one to select it. The plant's status will show below it's name. If it says "Thirsty", click the spray bottle icon ONCE. The plant status should change to "Sated". You'll need to water each one individually. They need water every ~4 days.

If you click the spray bottle too much, your plant will change to "Overwatered" (like my plant below), and may die if you continue to water it.

2. Sing to your plants

Select a plant, zoom in, and wait. You'll see little white bars come out as seen in the screenshot. Your plant's status will improve once you've had it selected for a while (You don't actually need to sing into a mic for this to happen).

This is optional, and your plants grow even without the singing.

3. Uprooting/Moving plants

When a plant is selected, the icon on the lower left will uproot your plant. You can then place your plant down in a different location, or deselect to cancel the action. By clicking the trash can, it'll ask if you want to delete your plant. If you're not paying attention and click OK, you'll lose your plant :(

4. Weeding

Destroy that little intruder!! ..or leave it there for more greens.
Hover your mouse over the grass that comes up. Click the little X button to pluck it.

5. Be patient

Don't worry if you don't see anything happening yet! Progress in plant growth shows up around Day 3. Your plants will grow even when you are not in the game, but that also means they'll get thirsty and may die if you ignore them too long.
The Snail
Wow cute!

You can sing to your snail to keep it happy. And water it.
Re-potting, getting new plants, and other tips

1.5 Getting a new pot

You can have a second pot of plants by purchasing a 'Map to the Grove' in the Nursery Menu. (First circle/option from the left)

<Details to come>

2. New plants

You get a free plant once a week (click the checkmark to accept it), or can buy them. Get these from the Nursery Menu (the house button).

To add the plant to your pot:
- Go to your pot.
- Click the little circle to bring up the menu.
- Click the "planting" button (third from the left)
- From the icon list on the left, cick the plant you want to add. If you don't have new plants available, you won't see anything.
- Place plant where you want.
- When done, click the 'back' button on the bottom left to finish.

3. Naming plants/the snail

Select the plant/snail and click on the name. Hit "Enter" when done.

4. Background

The background changes colour according to the time of day, based on the local time of your computer/device.

"Waterlogged" means that the plant's roots are too wet to be healthy, even wetter than being Overwatered. I don't know if there is any way to fix that other than to stop watering it and wait for it to dry out, although you could try uprooting it and replanting it in a different spot. I'd be curious to hear if that helps. When you check the status of a plant, if it says "Sated" or "Overwatered" or "Waterlogged", don't water it. For the ones that are "Thirsty", just click the button once to give it a single spritz of water and the status should change to "Sated", which is the optimal amount of water.

Hi, just curious about something relating to watering plants. What does waterlogged mean, and should I be concerned about it? :steamsad:

Tip: While you have a plant selected, <Tab> will select the next plant. This can help you systematically check the status of all your plants more easily than trying to select each one with the mouse. Start with something distinctive (e.g. the plant in the centre of the pot) so that you can tell when you've tabbed through all of the plants in the pot.
