I decided to make my own guide because others put annoying and unnecessary spoiler alert in their Steam guides.

If you are all lazy achievement hunters just like myself, you are at the right place!

I hope this guide helps you beat the game as fast as possible.

Understanding the Basics
Complete the first 3 levels to learn the basics of the game.

Deeper Into the Dream
Help Bob through the first dream world.

Back to Bed
Get Bob safely to the end of the last level.

Have We Been Here Before?
Complete the first dream world in nightmare mode.

So Much Easier the First Time
Complete the game in nightmare mode.

Open Sesame
Open a door in nightmare mode.

Checkmate
Scare five chess pieces.

(Storyline achievements are not missible.
Checkmate can be done deliberately faster by retrying the levels that have chess pieces.)



The Button is Stuck!
Use the fast forward function for a combined 5 minutes.


(Use fast forward function and clear a level.)

Patience is a Virtue
Watch the credits to the end.


(Select credits on game menu or complete the game to watch it. You can use fast forward function to speed up.)

No Time to Explain!
Skip five cutscenes.


(Select any level that has a cutscene and then skip it. Go back to menu and repeat the process.)

If at First You Don't Succeed
Retry a single level 5 times.



Grown Attached
Spend 10 minutes in one level.


(Must be in a level and game must not be paused. Alt-tab will pause the game so just run the game for 10 minutes, go AFK. or do w/e u want.)

Groundhog Night
Make Bob walk over the edge 10 times in a single level.


(Let the game run for 10 minutes to get the above achievement and this one.
Bob will easily fall more than 10 times in 10 minutes.)



Elitist
Play the game at 13:37.


(Play the game on 1:37 PM; Launch the game on the exact time or have the game running before 1:37. Be in a level let the game run until 1:38.

(Also you can simply change your system clock to get the achievement.)

A Dog, a Whale and a Clock Walks Into a Hole…
Allow Bob to be woken by a dog, an alarm clock, a whale train and a manhole.


(Let Bob get pwned by them. It all has to be done in one game session. In other words, closing and relaunching the game will not remember which woke Bob.

Harbour Hazards level 9 has both a manhole and whale train, and level 10 has a dog. Rooftop Trouble level 15 has clock that is chasing Bob. After Bob gets 0wned, go back to main menu and select and play each level to get the achievement in no time.)

Just Five More Minutes
Send 10 wheel clocks over the edge.


(Rooftop Trouble level 13 has two clocks. Knock them off and retry the level until you get the achievement.)

Now You are Thinking With…
Walk through portals 30 times.


(Continuously enter a portal with your fairy till you get the achievement.)

Conserving Your Resources
Complete level 8 by moving only one apple.


(See Rooftop Trouble Walkthrough.)

Smart Guy, Huh?
Complete level 8 in the second dream world by having Bob take a shortcut.


(See Harbour Hazards Walkthrough.)

Speedrunner
Complete levels 1-30 in under 45 minutes.


(Follow the Walkthrough below.)

From the left to right:
(1) Sequential positions for the apple(s).
(2) Sequential positions for the fish.
(3) Black path for Bob and red path for enemies,.
(4) An apple must be used to reach certain location or items such as fish.
(5) Skull indicates where an apple has to be placed to eliminate enemies or danger.















Achievement: Conserving Your Resources (move around only one apple)

Achievement: Smart Guy, Huh? (complete level 8 by having Bob take a shortcut)


Alternative way (Video by Cos)




Don't remove 2nd apple too fast. Wait for bob to walk a block.

Trap the dogs first.
2nd, 3rd, and 4th position for the apples may need to be switched several times to successfully trap all three dogs.

Remove 4th apple to make a path for Bob.
Place fish and apple as shown in the picture below.
Now narcoleptic Bob can gO.


Trap the dog first.
Lift the fish as soon as the dog is isolated.


Now narcoleptic Bob can gO.


Only place 4th apple after Bob was pushed by the water shooter.
(Please excuse wrong path for Bob near the 4th apple and water shooter.)


Take the only apple with you and enter the portal before Bob.
Place the apple and fish in order as shown in the second picture.
