Introduction

Like the title says, this guide will help you to unlock all the color palettes for every characters.

For those who were unaware to this, it's simple: Every character has different colors to choose.
To open the "color selection" menu, press Start (Enter on keyboard) while choosing your character.

7th & 8th Colors

These are easy to unlock.

7th: Complete Story Mode with that character.
8th: Complete Arcade Mode with that character.
Note: If you complete arcade mode with 2 or 3 characters, the 8th palette will be unlocked for those characters as well.

9th Color

This palette takes a lot of time to get for all of the characters.

9th: Win 25 Versus matches with that character (Local or Online).
Tip: Make a 1v2 Fight, this way you'll end it faster because your opponent will have less defense and you don't have to kill him 2 out of 3 times to win.

10th Color

This one it's a bit weird.

10th: Go to a local versus battle, while in the "input method" screen (When you're selecting which controller goes in which side), type "idspispopd" without the quotation marks.
Note: If you download any DLC character after using the code, there's no need to use it again. The 10th color should be already unlocked.

I can see 25 palettes somehow. Some are unlocked but others aren't. What's happening?

Ok, guys: I know that most of you have problems with the 10th color, but I already unlock them and I can't try it again because you can put the code just once. Plus I used this method before Elisa was released, so I don't know if the method is useless now.
But I'm not deleting the guide because the 7th, 8th and 9th color methods can be still used.
There's no need to keep telling me that the 10th color didn't work for you.

For the tenth one, you do NOT go into game options and then controller settings, NO. You go to a local versus battle and right before starting, a screen appears that allows you to choose which input method would be for which player. There is where you want to input the code. Something that the person who wrote this guide neglected to mention

Have to type in the no clipping code from DOOM to unlock the 10th one. I get the reference, but not the reason. Lez smash pumpkins into small piles of putrid debris, yo.
