No problem, my man. I appreciate the feedback. Personally I also prefer a degree of realism, which is why most of my skins are realistic interpretations of real life weapons. As for SAO, best to skip that series, it’s not very good.

I'm quite the generalist escapist (emphasis on "THE" escapist), both into sci- and fantasy (can ya say WH40k?) and it's more along the lines of applying *sort* of a hard-sci approach to the mostly mundane - or at least systhematic aspects of a given paradigm/setting. Be it headcanoning ~the theory of magic omgwtfbbq~ or nitpicking whether a firearm is viable; shoehorning fridge logic if stuff don't make sense at face value, toxic visioneering if it even that much *can't be done*~~

One thing I'm certain of - at least some of the material science has to make sense, applied phlebotinum should *try* and be consistent - and don't even let me start going on about logistics and...anatomically plausible violence, let's put it. Yeah, I'm definitely not a morbid motherfucker in this regard. Why~?

Well that came out quite the rant. I hope you don't mind the spam ^^
On a final note - again, I really appreciate your contributions. And you seem like a chill bastard, too.

[Would ya believe there's 1000 characters limit per comment? Hell is this, goddamn twatter?]

I simply love the gradient work and overall, could ya say, surety; convinction radiating from your interpretations. I hope that's not too...esoteric a phrasing. And as to SAO swords, I actually nicked most of those - for...purposes - in the first hours of owning Blockstorm, just didn't feel particularly conversative at that point, heh. I'm not even that much of a SAO buff - well, hard to be a fan, having not yet consumed a given work - sadly, I've rarely (or so I believe) the time for new titles - and what I consider "new" can also be some indication of the scope of my backlog. Cyclopean... Some stuff just has to wait 'till retirement it seems ;p

Well, yeah, I *am* way into realism you could say, but the again, my definition of the word may be on the less orthodox side.

That's a very fair critique. This sword was created back when there were still limitations to the knife skins, so I couldn't actually make the hilt any narrower. If you like this, you should check out some of the SAO swords I've made, they are of far higher quality than this one. They're fantasy swords though, so if realism is more your thing there is probably not a whole lot there you'd like.

Haa~ This- whatever was happening here in the comments done slain me, please preserve this x)

Y'know what the sword's problem seems to be? The hilt could be narrower in the last third before the pommel - and maybe a pixel shorter. That's kinda making it seem less like a claymore and more a beefy renaissance dagger at first glance. That said, your work is insane. I believe I can even see where the goddamn bevel ends, which is scary given the blade is 4px wide Oo'

Mad props, Sensei.
