In many cultures, attacking was not discovered until rather recently, 100,000 years ago. It has been mankind's greatest challenge to fight large dragons and attacking is what helped them.

It has been used in many wars to fight for one's country. It's also helpful in video games when you are faced with many enemies. Attacking is a great way to escape from people who have cornered you.

Attacking is not without its controversies, however. People have been arrested and sent to prison for attacking other people, for a variety of motives. Some wonder how much attacking should be shown in movies and video games, and propose that people should instead settle their differences with Mario Kart races.

LEGO Video Games have had attacking in them as far back as LEGO Island in 1998, when Pepper Roni attacked the Brickster with pepperoni pizza and donuts being fired out of a police helicopter.
