Learn the visual queues for attacks
In The Elder Scrolls Online, you will encounter many enemies and monsters. All of them follow the same visual queues. Sparks are the biggest visual clue and can mean one of two things.

Red sparks
These mean your enemy is charging or channeling an ability, this will stun you and take you out of the combat for a period of time, making you vulnerable to further attacks. To stop this, simply shield bash the enemy or attack them with your weapon, the default to do this is to hold right click and then left click.

White or yellow sparks
These mean your enemy is getting ready to power attack you, this will once again stun you and take you out of the combat for a period of time, making you vulnerable to further attacks. To stop this, simply block your opponents attack, you can do this by holding right click, this will leave your enemy dazed and give you the advantage.

Practice
Following these visual queues will put you at the advantage during combat, make sure to practice these to get better at successfully blocking attacks.
Travelling
In The Elder Scrolls Online there is a way of fast traveling called wayshrines these shrines can be used once found and allow you to teleport from wherever you are in the world to them for a small fee. If you are already at a shrine you may use it to teleport to other shrines for free.

What they look like

Death
If you die you will have the option to resurrect, either from where you died (which consumes a soulstone) or from a wayshrine most players will choose this option as they are a safe place to spawn into and are generally close to a place where you can resupply before you get back into battle

Free travel
If you do not have the gold to pay for the travel open up your Friend/Guild/Party menu and right click on any one of the players there. There will be an option to travel to simply choose this option and you can fast travel to their location for free!
Solo Dungeons
In The Elder Scrolls Online there are two types of dungeons. Group dungeons and Solo dungeons. You can distinguish the two from the plus next to the icon, for example.

Solo dungeon:
Group dungeon:

Why do you want to do solo dungeons?
Solo dungeons can be completed by yourself hence the term "solo dungeon" and usually have some quest line tied with them. They can be a great way to level up and skill up.

Dungeon Bosses
Each dungeon will also have its own boss that will more than likely drop a green or even a blue. They also drop filled soul gems.

How to turn off zone chat
In The Elder Scrolls Online there is a function called "zone chat" not only is it the work of Satan himself, but it is incredibly annoying to have to watch other people fight and argue while your trying to talk to your guild friends and or guild members.

Step one
Create a new chat box, do this by pressing the "enter" key and then clicking the plus button to make a new chat box.

Step Two
Untick the option for "Zone Chat" and give your new chatbox a name.

Join a guild
In The Elder Scrolls Online you can join guilds. These are a collection of players who usually enjoy the same type of things in the game.

Finding a guild
Some times people will come up and invite you to a guild, this is risky to accept as sometimes these are not very good guilds and lead to inactive or constantly offline members but sometimes you can have some decent fun.

Other times you may see invitations in zone chat. Just like when someone randomly invites you by walking up to you in game, the people in these types of guilds may be largely inactive or offline but you can still have fun.

Forums and websites are by far the best way to search for a guild who can specifically cater to you, these guilds are generally better setup and organised but not always. A great guild searching resource can be found HERE[eso.guildex.org]

There is a large selection of filters for you to choose from so that you can find the best guild for you.

Guild tab
This is your guild tab. It has all the information you need about your guild including the Home, roster, ranks and history.

Talking in guild chat
You can belong in up to five guilds at a time and so therefore there are four ways to enter your guild chats.
Guild One: /g1 /guild1
Guild Two: /g2 /guild2
Guild Three: /g3 /guild3
And so on....

When I had started playing, I didn't know about fast travelling through the wayshrines and every time I just ran across whole zone map. I found out that you can travell from any location to any other by your feet. That's useless I guess but nice for role playing. I'd discovered fast travel when already played about 80 hrs or so lol

This may sound incredibly nube but I am. I have done a great job of looting stuff. I have full bags, 550 g and the banker says I need 1000 to open a bank account. I have things in my bag that are white and say 0 to sell. What do I keep? They say items for recipes and the like.

Just focus on the sound and visuals the locks make. As soon as it starts shaking release your mouse button. It takes a bit of practice, but it will come naturally.
