Welcome to my guide on how to get the four special outfits in Dead Rising 2: Off the Record! For this guide I will show you where to get each piece of the outfit in as much detail as I can. Each location will give you a detailed description of where it is in text, then a picture showing you the location of the room it is in and what it looks like in the room. To figure out what room it is in, be sure to look for the way point I have set on the map and not where my character is right now.

I might include the Protoman Outfit later, but for now here are just the four basic ones.

• Increased Stealth around basic zombies, meaning you are less likely to be grabbed.
  
• Increased movement speed.
  
• Increased damage on throwing weapons.
  
• Extra Attacks and Animations when using sword like weapons.

The Ninja Hood can be located in Royal Flush Plaza, it is easily missed seeing as it is more of a secret. It is located by going to the second floor of the plaza and can be reached by climbing on top of the telephone booth next to Player's Music Shop, then climbing up on the roof and onto the roof of the SporTrance sports shop, then onto the patch of flowers, and then onto another roof, enter through the window and you can locate the mask on top of a cardboard box.


The Ninja Clothes can be unlocked by killing 1337 zombies in either Sandbox mode or the Story mode. Once you have killed said number of zombies the clothes will be in the Safe House. On top of that you will also earn the achievement known as "Elite Killer."


The Ninja Mask can be located in Yucatan Casino over at the Shoal Nightclub. This is where you fight the twins later on in the game. Once you go up the escalator head down the hallway and then make a right behind the counter, you will then see the Ninja Mask on a mannequin.


The Ninja Boots can be located in Uranus Zone over at The Man's Sports shop. The shop is located at the back of Uranus Zone and next to Astonishing Illusions. Once you enter the shop you will see them over at the right next to a duffel bag.

• Increased Ammo, Accuracy, and Damage on all Firearms.
  
• When using automatic guns you get a new special attack.

The Soldier Boots can be located at the back of the South Plaza. It can be found inside of a room that has a tunnel leading to a maintenance room. The room is also right next to Ultimate Playhouse. Once inside it will be inside of what appears to be a stack of boxes on the right of the room.


The Soldier's Facepaint can be located at a hunting store named Shank's, which is located at the north side of Palisades Mall. The store is close to the entrance of Yucatan Casino. Once you enter head over to the right, it will be worn on a mannequin head.


The Soldier Clothes can be unlocked by defeating Sgt Boykin in either Sandbox mode or Story mode. Once you have defeated him you will unlock both the Soldier Clothes and the achievement called "Save the Girl... Again." Once you have unlocked it you can retrieve it at the Safe House.

The Night Vision Goggles can be purchased at the looter's shop over at the Platinum Strip and costs 2 million. The store is located next to Dining at Davey's and across from Paradise Platinum Screens. Once inside it can be seem behind the counter at the left of the store.

• Increased damage on sports related weapons, such as baseball bats and footballs.
  
• Unique attack for the Football.
  
• Better health recovery on all food and drink items.
  
• Better Alcohol Tolerance, meaning you can drink as much as you want without vomiting.
  
• Increased Gambling Chances
  
• Increased Movement Speed

The Sports Fan Helmet can be located in the store Hot Excitorama over at the Silver Strip. The store is located right beside The Peep Hole and a maintenance room. Once inside go to the back room and you should see it hanged up.


The Sports Fan Clothes can be located in the store KokoNutz Sports Town in the middle of Palisades Mall. The store can be found next to Chocolate Confessions Once inside go to the middle of the first floor of the store, it will be hung up in a shirt rack amongst a bunch of other shirts.


The Sports Fan Facepaint can be found in a hidden area at the north side of the Americana Casino. Once inside the casino look for the BBQ restaurant and head upstairs, then hop onto the lamps and make your way to the end where there is a blue bunny, some money, and a box. On top of the box is the facepaint.


The Sports Fan Cleats can be found in the SporTrance sports store in Royal Flush Plaza. The store can be found right next to the Sturdy Packaging store. Once inside locate the middle shoe rack on the right and you will find the Sports Fan Cleats.

• Increased damage from the following weapons

  • Chainsaw
    
  • Meat Cleaver
    
  • Mining Pick
• When using automatic guns you get a new special attack.
  
• Reduced damage taken from enemies.
  
• Extra Attacks from Mining Pick, Machete, and Meat Cleaver.

The Psychopath Mask can be found in the Swept Away wedding chapel in the Silver Strip. It can be found next to the entrance of the Slot Ranch Casino and across the street from Peep Hole. You are also required to enter during the side mission "Here Comes the Groom," where you have to fight Randy. Once inside go to the first row of seats to the left, it will be sitting on there.


The Psychopath Hair can be unlocked by watching the Timeshare movie in the Paradise Platinum Screens in the Platinum Strip. The movie theater can be located across the pawnshop. The movie plays between the hours of 12AM through 2AM and can only be seen during those hours. Once finished the hair will be available at the Safe House.


The Psychopath Clothes can be unlocked after beating Carol, who is a optional psychopath in both Story mode and Sandbox mode. During Story mode you can fight him in the side mission "Mail Order Zombrex" and in Sandbox mode you can fight him immediately in Royal Flush Plaza. Once you have unlocked it you can retrieve it in the Safe Room.

The Psychopath Boots can be found over at the Fortune City Arena. It is inside of the Security Room, which can be found next to the pathway to the Americana Casino. Head over to the monitor room where you and Rebecca look for evidence in the main story and look to the right of the room, the boots should be on the ground.
