Skip Intros
In your Steam Game Library, find the game, right click it and click Properties.
Click the "Set launch options..." button.
Type in -nologos and click OK.
Click Close.

This is more a generic steam issue, but I dinna where to put it.
Passing parameters after the URL in the shortcut would really be nice since you could have different parameter set in each shortcut, for things like various users wanting different characteristics on the game.
E.g. sometimes you feel like exploring everything, or just wreaking havoc or growing 100m tall. So having one shortcut with -cheats and one without could be nice.
Normal people would never want to set that, however.
