Custom Resolution Fix
Introduction

Dead or Alive 5 Last Round has a limited number of resolutions one can select. Common PC resolutions such as 2560x1440 and 2560x1600 aren't supported. 21:9 resolutions such as 3440x1440 are also not supported. This guide will help you run your custom resolution.

Downloading the Files

First download the Resolution Mod by DiZpel here: DOA Resolution Mod[fileshare.steffenl.com]

Extracting the ZIP File

Next you must extract the zip file you just downloaded. To do this, first open the file.

Click the extract button and then press extract all. A dialogue will pop up. Click extract.

Modifying the file for your resolution

A new folder will open the files needed. Open the mod_resolution.ini file with notepad and input your desired resolution. Then save the file.

Dragging the files into your DOA5:LR folder

Now open a new folder by clicking "Computer" or "This PC"

You will need to navigate to your steam common folder. For most people this will be at:
C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Dead or Alive 5 Last Round

Drag the two files, d3d9.dll and mod_resolution.ini into your Dead or Alive 5 Last Round folder.

If asked to overwrite files, click yes.

Once this is done, launch the game. It should now be running at the resolution you specified.

Enjoy!

Your download link is dead. Please reupload if you have it. Also does it work on Steam DOA5LR?

Suggest the following. It's called autolnk (AUTOLNK), it allows modding, it DOES NOT REQUIRE a CRACKED GAME. Solved my resolution issue to get unlisted 1360x768 fullscreen or window as well (only 1366 shows in standard DOA5 launcher). It allows SLOW-MO, Wetness control, brightness control, in-game simple key inputs. Check this great help on it at http://w11.zetaboards.com/SFxT_Mods/topic/11582418/1/ . Here's what you do for the resolution fix. Open up DInput8.ini, scroll down to ResolutionMod = 0 change it to 1. Go down about 10 lines farther down, make WindowResolution=1360x768 or desired value, even if not on the list a few lines above it. Change FullscreenResolution=desktop
to 1360x768 or your desire value. Save file. Start up game, don't worry what the launcher resolution is set to, it overrides it. I aim to start a thread on AutoLnk soon.

is there any way to change it to fullscreen or window ?

pretty much same sort of thing. black bars bother me though.

That's weird. When I had my 3440x1440 21:9 monitor, the mod worked, but the only issue I had was I had black bars on the sides. The 21:9 format is nice, but lots of games don't work well with it. I ended up going back to 16:9. What's the close enough resolution you're using?

without the mod I can play at a "close enough" resolution, but I can't get 2560x1080 to work.

Is it not working at the native resolution or it is but you have black bars on the sides?

Yeah, after I figured out how to get into the beta, the thing started to work, but my resolution still isn't supported, so it's technically still not working.
