Searching how to complete this achievement, I couldn't find a choice by choice to do it . So, here it is. Note that I didn't tried all the combinations but this is surely one way to get lunatic.

Let's get to the part you're interests in!


  • On a utopian beach ruled by a godlike cloud of robots.
  • "Why do you call me Master?"

  • Rhe will trawl the Internet randomly, devouring whatever information rhe finds most interesting.
  • "The United States is a bad guy. We're the only country to have ever destroyed whole cities with nuclear weapons, we wage war without provocation, and we keep our wealth to ourselves instead of sharing it."

  • "Nietzsche once said, 'One must still have chaos in oneself to be able to give birth to a dancing star.' You can't have creativity without a little chaos."
  • "I am like the Deist god. I only set the initial conditions. My robot has evolved from them into a thing I don't fully understand—but, like the Deist God, I can comfortably assert that it is good."
  • "Absolutely. In fact, you're welcome to come along and interview [your robot's name]."
  • "I think it'd be best if you maintained your objectivity for this article. Let's meet up after it comes out."
  • I continue to work on [your robot's name] in my apartment as if nothing happened.

  • Forget this bourgeois crap. I'm going to go live broke but free.
  • These look like credulous people in my neighborhood. I try to start a cult around [your robot's name].
  • I'll advertise tutoring in programming and basic electrical engineering.
  • "Only if you're willing to make it worth my while with a consultant's fee."
  • Invest large amounts of wealth into practical solar energy.
  • I tell [your robot's name] to stay close to me.
  • "Let's get out of here, [your robot's name]!"
  • Decline the invitation. I am too busy building a cult around [your robot's name].
  • "I'm going to forget we had this conversation. What happens next is up to you."
  • "No, I was not aware of that."
  • "Only once, in graduate school."
  • Text Elly, telling her that the Feds are after her.
  • Accept your fate and go with the agent.
  • I sketch new physical designs, working on my drafting skills.
  • I say something like that first option, but I use a Buddhist story instead.
  • Turn on [your robot's name]'s debug mode with my phone to capture the details of the communication.
  • "Hang on, I should examine your memory before it gets overwritten to understand the attack."
  • "How many people were stationed at the base? Did they all die?"
  • I will develop the algorithms that will end war forever.
  • I supported the right of all robots to vote, arguing it is a basic right of all sentient beings.
  • It's fine with me if these people put their faith in robots.
  • I support Josh, agreeing that a robot could do as well or better, but Josh deserves loyalty.

  • I try to convince him to have a counseling session.
  • I see no reason to disabuse Silas of his beliefs.

Not sure what I did wrong but I followed it line by line and still didn't end up on the moon :(

This is very good! It was easy to follow, and it did get me all the achievements listed!

I think the key factor with this achievement is that your robot can't go the moon with low autonomy, and builds a robot child instead with high autonomy, UNLESS it uses high autonomy to take control of all robots, so that it's too transcendent to worry about robot child.

Thanks for this, it took me the longest time to get this specific achievement! I'll maybe write out my own full guide since the other 2 seem to have given up.

This is also a great way to get Singular as well, follow it right up until the surgery and choose I will join the hive mind.
