Description

Due to it's relatively small size, the Barracuda Heavy Bomber was initially underestimated by enemy Warship captains. Most of them thought a group of bombers as small as five or six would be, at worst, a mere distraction for their ships anti-missile systems. This assessment was quickly proven tragically wrong. Utilising similar tactics to those used by Hawk and Tiger crews, Barracuda groups approach enemy ships from multiple angles at high speed, before switching off dampeners and rotating to place the enemy above them. A split second before reaching the enemy vessel, the Rangefinder signals to the pilot, who unleashes dozens of rockets from the Barracudas dual Large Ship Rocket Launchers. This rapid assault from several angles overwhelms enemy anti-missile defences and destroys surface systems and engines. This has led to the Barracuda often being pursued by enemy interceptors as a priority target, against which it has little defence.
