Achievement - Beast Master - Part 1 - Ceodores Tale

A complete bestiary for the first chapter of the game - Ceodores Tale

This is also an achievement guide and we will be getting these achievements throughout the series:

Taming the Wild (30% total Bestiary)
A Tale to Tell (100% of one Tale)
The Point of no Return(60% total Bestiary)
Beast Master(100% total Bestiary)

When looking online it was hard to find a bestiary that was in the correct order or had the correct creatures due to the multiple versions of the game available. I cobbled together this resource from various forums and the Wikia and then followed through the first chapter myself to validate everything. I intend to follow this guide with a Bestiary for each chapter as I go!

I am going to lay this out in two ways:

1. The optimal or first location encountering an enemy broken down by area. (Scripted encounters will be considered optimal)
2. A complete list from the Bestiary in numerical order.

If you are having trouble locating a monster listed in a specific zone then scroll to the bottom to see where else you might find it.

I also only found the Zombie on the Mysidia side of Devil's Road (though not in the first pass through). I only tried this after burning a fair amount of time fruitlessly on the Baron side.

Playing through right now for the first time. Encountered hydra while playing Cecil in first tower you come across, east tower area floor 2 i think with the 4 chests right before you fight the ogre.

I can't find mindflayer even after 20 hours of grinding in mist cave, is it at a specific spot?

I could not find any Zombies in the third area of Devil's Road (the Baron side). I found them instead in the first area (the Mysidia side).

You actually fight Belphegor first on the way back from Adamant Grotto (scripted).

nice list. I came across Hydra's on the 3f of the right tower were you fight the ogre.

So are any of these missable? By that I mean missable in the sense of locking me out of getting the achievements.
I haven't progressed too far into the game but I hope I can revisit areas and that everything will end up counting. I'd hate to have to restart the game at some point.

Ahhh yeah, I had that problem with flans too, annoying to switch autobattle to magic so I run away from them, in later tales I forgot I hadn't killed them yet either, lol
