Tripwire announced a long time ago that the patriarch will be returning in killing floor 2. This is one of the secrets that the devs added in to build some hype.

Step 1

Step 1 - When you spawn go through the door on the far right.

Step 2

Step 2 - You should see a lunchroom celebrating someones birthday ( sucks to be them ). To the right of said lunchroom there should be a small room with a staircase in it. Continue through there.

Step 3

Step 3 - This is said staircase mentioned in step 2. Go up that bad boy.

Step 4

Step 4 - Now you should find yourself in a room that looks like frosty the freaking snowman turned into his mancave. There is a big pillar in the middle of the room with what looks like a replica DNA strand on it. Look at the computer screen on it.

Step 5

Step 5 - And there it is. More hype that the patriarch is making a badass return. And if you look closely under the HZX-001 code. It actually says patriarch and he looks even buffer than last game.

Also, inside the stand you can see that 1 DNA sample is missing... Maybe new patriarch is a clone (if he "died" in kf1) or it's original patriarch who just upgraded himself? And where the lab is located (London, France) and why would someone store patriarch's DNA in that lab? It would be good to know that in future

Yes i am aware that they said he will still be here in the killing floor. But this is simply just one of the secrets the Devs added in to build some hype. Sorry for the misconception :)

They did already say he was going to be one of the three bosses.
