"Hi finally made myself a sniper however the painting was a pain in the ass so I will do it later!

next time you open sfm, open this link. Hit subscribe and it will download automatically. The if you want to paint an item, unlock it from the model and right click on the cosmetic, click on rig and then the colour script name. Paint you item and the relock it.
