GUIDE DEPRECATED -- use my 360 Klondike tutorial instead

If you haven't heard, Fistful of Frags is now running on the Source engine.

If you were like me, you probably thought: "Oh, Source. So it's like Team Fortress 2? Can I use a gamepad with it?"

Turns out, you can. You'll want to keep your mouse next to you, though - the UI still lacks support for the trusty wireless 360 controller.

I'm Big Blondie Boss, and this is how I did it.
Installation Instructions
1. Navigate to (Windows 64_bit users: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fistful of Frags\fof\cfg) or (C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fistful of Frags\fof\cfg)
2. Copy config.cfg
3. Rename copy_config.cfg as controller.360.cfg
If you don't see .cfg, don't add it.

4. Open Controller.360.cfg in wordpad
5. Delete all text. (Ctrl-A + Del)
6. Paste the following:

Activate in-game!
1. Open options.
2. Click advanced.
3. Enable Developer Console.
4. hit OK
5. Open console (` key)
6. type exec controller.360.cfg
7. close console.
8. Play!

barely.
it only works to move and rotate the camera, but u cant really do any action like jump or shoot.

Yes, absolutely yes. I tried to do all the config in-game, but that didn't work for me either. The only way I had it working was via a cfg file. This guide may be a little onerous (honestly, Klondike is the better layout), but here's a pre-built version of the file:

1. Drop file into /Fistful of Frags/fof/cfg/
2. Start game
3. Open console with `~ key
4. exec your config file

Do I really need to do all this just to use my gamepad? The game already supports it in the settings, I can bind all the buttons and everything just fine my only problem is I can't look up and down on the right thumbstick. If someone could just figure out a quick fix for this problem.
