Woodie starts with an Axe, names Lucy that speaks to him at random points such as equipping her, dropping and picking her up, etc. This is SOOO useful, mainly due to the fact Lucy has no durability, thus meaning it is a waste to make other axes like pick/axe, luxery axe, etc. (Rubbish anyways :P)
It is advised howerver, chop like 3 trees then wait...then 3 more unless you want to become...A BEAVER! DUN DUN DUUUN Canaananannada, we love out beavers!

As you know probably, woodie has a curse where he turns into a giant wood eating beaver. This can be extremly helpful dealing with large amounts of mobs that you get pissed off at like beefalo heat. My lord. The beaver runs on wood, if you just eat some wood every time you chop one or two trees...you'll stay in the state for a while. The beaver has a majestic outlining where incoming DMG is reduced by 80%, and damage from people is only sent to the wood meter! Hah spiders, ♥♥♥♥ you!
When going into Woodie's original form, you will be set to 50 hunger, 50 health and 50 sanity..not capped at 50, but yeah..like a touch stone! Here is the night vision from the beaver state: Nightly chopping!
