1. If you have not opened the escapists since the update. Open it up and then close it.

"Where is the map editor button, I don't see it." You may be opening a shortcut that is connected to the play button. Just get rid of the shortcut and open the real file, you may find that real file in desktop, downloads, files, ect. Then when you get to this menu:

Create a shortcut so you don't have to find the real file.

theres no map editor button?

2 ways, I suggest you open steam and go to the escapist store page and press Play Now

tool or launcher i have the escapists but not launcher

You need to download The Escapists, the Map Editor comes included with The Escapists.
