The quest for Chroma is very easy to start but there are a couple setbacks.


1. You must be Mastery rank 5


2.You must have beaten the Quest Stolen Dreams

If you have done all these things you must then go to a Relay and take the "Lift" in the very far back then go into the room on the right. then click "Talk" and Cephalon Simiaris will give you a Dialog box click the one at the very top with a symbol on its left.


Also before starting start building Frost Chassis, Saryn Systems, Ember Helmet, And Volt helmet as they are needed for building Chroma

At the beginning you will have to do a Capture and Spy mission as the one from "Stolen Dreams" and will be very helpful with a stealthy frame and weapons. Continue you way threw the mission as told after this you will be given a mission which requires you to use the new items Cephalon Simiaris has given you.

These are very important and play a huge role in this first part as you learn how to use the new equipment, to access this go to your "Arsenal" click "Gear" then put it into a slot. Next continue the Mission and hold Q or your Gear button and follow the Trail of Blue Essence on the ground wants you've found the target deploy a trap to stop him then Scan the blue dots on him, once this is done he will Disintegrate and be captured then Complete the mission at hand and do this three times.

Well the next part is well.....annoying as in once you completed the last step the first component will be Dropped, the Chassis, also this is where the frost Chassis come into play lots of time is needed on this frame but I rushed it for you all :)

Lotus will give you a mission here and there and you will do as told (Of course) just follow from there and then on but after you build the helmet which is why the Ember helmet is for, But then the next part you have to go back at the Codice and well Chroma shall appear you must scan him once for then head to Extract and aquire a Saryn System

The Fianle is a Defense mission in a Derelict for 10 waves, but on the last wave you must scan the Chroma 5 times for the BP and kill the rest of the enimes(Forgot to mention there Corpus :P) and then craft the frame TAHDAH NOW YOU HAVE CHROMA

Also changing the Energy color of the frame will change its abilitys drastically from being Posion, Fire, Ice, and Electricity

Chassis: Frost Chassis, 2 Neurodes, 900 Nona Spores, and 50 Plastids

Helmet: Ember Helmet, 200 Plastids, 2 Neural Sensors, 350 Polymer Bundles

Systems: Saryn Sytems, 400 Oxium,2 Argon Crystals, 1 Neurode

The Frame: Chroma Systems, Chassis, Helmet, and Volt Helmet

Gonna say thanks for how big this guide was back then and it still is popular, this guide I hope has helped players but now there is 2 ways to aquire Chroma the first is the Quest "The New Strange" and secondly Junctions. Chassis drop at Neptune Junction, Systems drop at Pluto Junction, and Neruoptics at Uranus Junction.
