解説
Melbourne, Australia by drunkill
Version 0.7, work in progress.

Base terrain created via heightmap, 22kmx22km so the scale is a bit smaller than a standard heightmap, I did this to include more of the western suburbs in the playable area and to make the CBD grid slightly east of the starting square.

Map includes the Westgate Freeway with Citylink as your first highway offramp. The Monash Freeway (M1)/Citylink also exists in the East but due to lack of tunnels does not travel underground where it should.


To do:
Better coastlines and landscaping
Resources redistribution after testing
Highway interchanges need some tweaking

Six months on the game has tunnels. Is an update in the works?

I hate to say it but I think you may need to reverse the direction of all of your roads, or definte it as LHD in the map editor if possible...
Choosing the "Left hand drive" option in game reverses what you've correctly layed out. A real bugger 'cause it would be awesome to build the city I love

When I start a new city with this map and choose left hand drive, all the freeways are right hand drive. However any new roads I place are left hand drive.

Do they need to be created as right hand drive in the map edititor so that they can be "flipped" when starting a new city?

wish you could edit.... as i also have a couple more comments another feature i notice is missing is Moonee Ponds Creek.. there maybe a few other small things but whiloe im building in the docklands to begin just thought i would make the note.:world:

Best map of Port Phillip so far... the starting area is the Victoria Harbour.. aka the Docklands.

The Bolte Bridge is a little out but besides that the map looks awesome.

Now all we need are some Trams. :tram:
