Many thanks to G4RY BoURB!3R for the contributions,
Gamemodes are now entirely reworked so that they are much more... playable.
There is now more cover to make it less of a sniperfest.
there might still be some optimalization issues, the map MAY require more than 4 gigs of ram, or a litle more vRAM than what the game recomends.
To play the map, simply click the subscribe button, and the map "should" be downloading as soon as you start the game.
The 15mb of bsp should not take to long to download.
The map does not work with bots, to make it even smaller.

If there should be a problem downloading the map you can download it manually of G4RY BoURB!3R's server.

kompressed in a bz2, you might have to decompress it with winrar.
you will also need an aditional .txt file for the gamemodes which can be found here:

just copy the files text and save it as karkand_b3.txt in your SteamApps\common\insurgency2\sdk_content\maps folder.

The only server that currently plays custom PVP-maps is G4RY BoURB!3R's server: [FR] [FfF] Frag , Fun et Fairplay : Stock Map / Push / Strike @ 5.196.242.78:27015

noooooooooo do not split the map, its better to have a large map that isn't full of constant spam battles. it makes it more tactical when its a large map, giving it close and long distance fire fights. people are to used to modern warfare bullshiz.

I'm friending you, my experience with decompiling isnt all that unproblematic.
I'll send you the VMF if you want it, and you may edit in any way you like, any contribution is greately appreciated. Please send me the result and/or keep me updated.
I'm eager to take another look at this map, i know it has some potential in it, but can't quite figure out how to manage the visleafs as well as navmesh and gameplay related issues.
my karkand_coop map just had an update and it is far more optimized than this map. i suggest using that as a basis, i don't think i'll upload the VMF for everyone to use, as this may lead to different versions flying around, hard to keep track of and which will lead to complications with the different servers, running my map. Again thanks for any contribution feel free to work on it.

HOLY SHIT, THIS MAP REALLY GOOD (Brush work, enties) !!! Unfortunately they are breaking the entire effect light :(. Map need big optimalization !!! The map has certain distortions as for battefield 2, but it isn't disturbing;). Could I decompile this map? I have a few cool ideas; D. THANKS A LOT !!!

As proposed split the map in 2 and put the normal gametypes on :) Let me know when is your next update for PvP :)

I think maybe if you made a version with just the urban part of town that excluded the warehouses on the other side of the river it would be better suited to insurgency's gamemodes
