Leírás
This mod modifies and improves the particles of the game making them look better and give the atmosphere of war. It is recommended mostly for high end machines with particle effects set on extreme. If there are any problems please report them in the comment section. Changes that this mod does are:
- Improved fire
- Better and larger smoke stacks with increased LoD
- Better looking flaming trails
- Improved the look of flaming arrows and javelins
- Flaming projectiles emit light
- Better Water Splashes
- Blood Splatters stay longer
- Blood puffs from arrow damage
- Deployable fireballs emit light
- Longer duration of impacts
- Running and battle Dust for units on sand and dirt terrain

IMPORTANT (CA might've fixed this)
If this mod is not working properly, then it is because of Mighty Effects part 2. Its file type is not read by the launcher anymore. So you might experience really thick smoke clouds that look nothing like the previews above among other odd things. To fix this you will need to:
- Download Pack File Manager (link below).
- Right click on migthyefefcts2 file, then go to properties, then uncheck 'read only'.
- Open mightyeffects2.pack mod in PFM under the File tab
- Change the file type pack into a .movie under the File tab then Save,
- Launch the game launcher, and before playing the game, right click on mightyeffects2.pack file found in (Steam/SteamApps/common/ROMEII/data/migthyeffects2.pack)
- Go to properties, then check the box 'read only' again. This prevents the game from automatically switching the file type into a .mod instead of a .movie file type

This mod contains a movie file, which if it doesn't PROPERLY UNINSTALL when you press delete at the manager, you must go to Steam/SteamApps/common/ROMEII/data/migthyeffects2.pack then delete it from there.

broken mod like the rest of the effects mods, cube fire and dust and disabled other effects, and dont tell me to follow instructions folled all again and again, even stix_09 comment whcih i hope would work and be simple

how does it improve fire? does it even contain fire? because in Rome 2, the original game, what you have isnt "fire" these are candle houses. but you cant set things on fire, which is a joke

Make sure "Run movie and release" pack mods is enabled in game Mods menu
then just sub to both parts and activate in launcher, no need to check files, as described (which instructions are actually poor and in accurate btw)

...\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\214950 (214950 is steam ID for R2)
This folder contains all workshop mods u have subbed to for R2, each folder has is a number (steam id for the mod) u can get this from steam url of the mod

mighty effects isnt in my folder.... this is so frustrating, hours of searching and cant find it anywhere, plz it most be a easier way to get this work.

the mod seems to already be a .movie in pfm but i still get weird smoke in campaign map during sieges

Is it have some reason not merge 2 part of this mod in 1 part?I try to use PFM merge part 2 and part1 together and no bugs happened again(because even i use the method u provide i still have the same bug)

For those who can't find it, try searching for "mighty" in the "\steamapps\workshop\content" folder. For some reason Steam is putting mods here now.

@nyyfandan I don't really know either. I have subscribed to both parts of the mod and my game already had the options checked to run movie packs and user scripts.
