I think it's better to wait for the next patch. It should fix a really dull gravity glitch that most runs use in the game (and most likely a leaderboard reset), and also should give a quick reset button to make running easier.

Well, looking at Portal series's visual theme I think we can make at least one connecting factor for your affection. Haven't tried any proper nonbrowser game built with Unity yet, at least knowingly. I'm kind of sick and tired of everything being made on UE so it would probably be a nice change and worth the try. Checked some of your instructions from the link, seems challenging enough. I might give it a go sometime soon.

Woah, a lot to reply to, but thank you! :butterfly:

DeadCore uses the Unity engine. As for any speeding techniques, I don't think this game has any, but what I like are the decisions you need to make mid-run about using your dashes. That is the fastest way to move horizontally, but since the game is designed around gradually travelling up there are many more options to go up faster that are present in my run, as well as a trick i discovered the day afterwards that allows you to impact rockets on yourself mid-air.

But all in all there are no speeding techniques that you can use anywhere, so it might not be the game for you. However I am familiar with air strafing in CS and also have much experience in speedrunning Portal 2 maps, and this game still appealed to me quite a lot, for some... reason.

Nice looking run, I don't play this but I can tell theres some skill-moves and exploitation going on, which I encourage to follow ;). I'm kind of curious about this game, is there any kind of advanced speeding techniques apart from the static burts you get from smashing keys? eg. like strafejumping in Quake3 or air strafing in CS, basically anything unintuitive that you only learn by truly understanding the physics of the game? If it's just static speed with who cuts the most corners competition, I'm not sure I might be as interested in it as that sort of gameplay has a very short life span and not as variant skill gap. In general I'm afraid if amongts equally skilled people can just copy exactly what the other guy did in his video. Also I'm dying to know what engine this game is built on, visuals looks like UE, but the floaty movement kind of reminds me of Unity. Man, I hate it when developers don't mention it anywhere :D I'd appreciate it if you replied.
