Hello, having just finished what I believe to be all the major parts of HuniePop (I have sexed 12 girls, including one that seems to be the 'final boss'. And no, I do not have a life.), I have decided to write down what advice I can, seeing that so many people seem to be having trouble. Personally, I found the game's difficulty extremely fun, it was just challenging enough to be interesting, without being too painfully hard.

I will add, however, that my save file only seems to be 82% complete - there may still be major parts I haven't unlocked, but I believe the last 18% is just alternate lines of text. If you do notice that there's something I missed, please tell me. ESPECIALLY ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE TISSUE BOX, I CANNOT WORK OUT WHAT TO DO WITH IT.

(Also, note in case anyone mentions I have 0 hours played of HuniePop, I played with the non-steam version for the uncensored goodness. Hopefully the picture is proof enough.)

The first step is to pick a suitable waifu, for reasons I will mention soon. I suggest Audrey, because she is the best non-secret girl and from my experience, she always accepts drinks, while some characters only accept them at the bar/nightclub. It doesn't matter too much though, pick whoever you like.

Every day, you should be able to buy them a "unique" gift, which increases Hunie gains when speaking to them. Spend your time dating girls at the start - it should be no trouble, until you've bought all the unique gifts for your Waifu.

From then on, you'll want to meet them at a bar or nightclub (Or wherever, as long as they'll accept drinks), preferably waiting for a day where they accept most of the foods on sale. Get your Waifu's alchohol level to the maximum, and then buy all the food they'll eat. Keep talking, and make sure you answer every question correctly (Talk to her a lot beforehand so you can work out all the correct answers. Write them down if you need to). You'll get a ridiculous amount of Hunie - almost 2k per question. Keep doing this and it wont be long before you have every single trait maxed.

I would also suggest picking a few Waifus at the start to focus on, making sure that they share the same "preferred attribute" or whatever it was called (Whichever bubble you get the most points for popping). In my playthrough I went with Tiffany and Audrey mainly as they both prefer Flirting. Max that trait first, as well as putting some points into Passion.

The dating puzzle seems to be something people have trouble with, and I'm not sure why. It's actually fairly easy if you know what you're doing, and have proper planning. First, Passion is absolutely essential, as is specializing. If your talent trait is low, but the Waifu you're trying to date wants talent, you'll likely have trouble. Hopefully you'll have more than enough Hunie though - once everything is maxed, the puzzles become a lot easier.

The general strategy is simple, start by building up Passion and Sentiment, and avoiding the "Most Desired" tokens as much as possible. Keep doing this, popping Bells if there are no Passion or Sentiment tokens (Take your time when working out if there are any matches, there's no rush). Once you've run out of matches, use the Stuffed Bear (The first date item you were given at the start of the game) to get more Passion tokens and match those too. Make sure you keep a careful watch on your turns remaining, do not spend too much time getting Passion.

Once you deem your passion to be high enough (Depends how high your trait is, really), start matching as many of the "Most Desired" tokens as possible, and you should rapidly get the progress bar up. The flower date gifts that consume all tokens of a particular type are very good for this, and if you were careful to avoid matching the Most Desired tokens early, you can complete the date just by using the item once after building up Passion.

Of course, things get harder later and you'll want well-synergized Date Gifts to keep up.

A few that are good in general... Make sure to be giving "purple star" gifts to characters as much as possible to build up your collection

Pink Lily: Consumes all Passion tokens on the grid

Stuffed Bear: Converts all Broken Heart tokens into Passion tokens

Pink Mary Janes: +1 Sentiment for every Passion token match for the date

Consume all x tokens flowers

Sunflower: Consume all Joy tokens on the grid, earning +1 Moves for every token consumed after the first 2

Stuffed Monkey: +2% of total Affection goal for every Broken Heart token

At the end of the game, my 'build' was: Stuffed Bear, Stuffed Monkey, Pink Mary Janes, Heart Necklace (Drops Passion to 0 and gives 2% total Affection per stage), Sunflower and a consume all x tokens flower.

My general strategy was (Note, this was effective at the very end of the game, where it was way harder. You don't need to follow the strategy until you get stuck, honestly. Just go with the general Dating strategy of building up passion, and take good date gifts. The best date gifts are ones that consume tokens or increase progress.): Match a Sentiment group, and then use the Pink Mary Janes. Build up Passion and Sentiment, using Stuffed Bear when necessary, avoiding bells. After there were no more Passion or Sentiment matches, I would either use Sunflower or the other Flower to both 'shuffle' the board, and consume the tokens I need. Continue matching Most Desired tokens, keeping Heart Necklace in backup just in case.

A lot of people seem to be having trouble with the sex part as well. It's rather simple really, don't stop matching. Ever. Just keep matching, it doesn't matter if it's only a 3 (Though 4s and 5s are preferable, obviously), just keep matching. If you get a chain, spend the time while you wait for it to resolve looking a new match, and you should be doing this regardless. You always want to have a match ready after you finish one. Later on it is rather difficult, and does require luck (Waiting for good chains and 4s or 5s), but since there's no time limit it doesn't really matter, just keep matching until you win. Don't get too distracted by the moans.

Note: Spoilers below, don't read if you want to discover this stuff for yourself.

From what I've seen, I'm pretty sure there are 4 secret Waifus (Though if you know of more, be sure to tell me)

Kyu (Fairy girl): I believe she gets unlocked after you sex 1-3 Waifus.

Momo (Catgirl): Discard a goldfish (Gift item from the store) while outside during the day, and she will appear after you leave to a different place.

Celeste (Alien girl): Once you unlock Kyu, gift her the "Dirty Magazine" you start the game with, and she will give you a "Strange Object". Take this object to the Beach at night (It may take a while for someone to be at the beach at night, just make sure to watch.) However, if you go to have sex that night, she will not appear. Simply leave and she will appear.

Venus (Goddess): I'm not 100% sure on this, but I believe you need to sex every non-secret Waifu and then she will appear as the "final boss" after you visit Kyu.

I have no idea what the tissue box does (None of the girls accept it as a gift), so if you find out, please tell me.
