How-To?
1: Go here; http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1234317&postcount=28
2: Download the appropriate version; 32 or 64 bit.
3: Go to your DCS install DIR and goto \bin\ and COPY the file there.
4: Go to \bin\headtracker\ DIR and COPY the file there again (create DIR if does not exist).
5; Now you have a DLL in the "\bin\" folder and the "\bin\headtracker\" folder.

Everything will now work!

@Jebediah Kerman: FacetrackNOIR works as Spawn noted "moderately well" but it has a few issues. You'll have to play with lights on at night if at night, and you'll have to adjust the curves such that you don't have to turn your head too much to get your view to look all the way around, up or down. It's something of a bear to configure, but it will work, but you have to be careful with the lighting. Another issue is if you take a drink or move too quickly it can lose tracking.

That said, it works okay. After awhile though, you might rethink not making your own clip or buying one from somewhere and modifying your cam to use the freetrack stuff. Good luck.

Jebdiah, I found that it didn't work well with my very crappy laptop webcam. so i cant comment on how well it works. I have a TrackIR 4-Pro and use a home-made IR-LED clip. However 70R4 does use FaceTrackNoIR and says it works moderatley well, but better with the hat-clip/LEDs. The better quality the webcam you use the Better the result, I'v heard of people getting it working very well. I'd say try it, cant hurt :)

How well does FaceTrackNoIR works with DCS World? TrackIR is too expensive, I am too lazy to make a Freetrack device, so this is a good alternative for me.

To clarify for people unfamiliar, you'll go to your My Computer > Program Files x86 > Steam > Steam Apps > Common > DCS World > bin. As it says, it's imperative that there is a .dll in both the raw bin folder, and in the folder called 'headtracker' which is also in your bin directory.

Thanks Spawn for the assist in getting this sorted. One does not spend 20 hours working out a build for a home-brew IR headtracking rig specifically for simulations and take kindly to these issues. Great help bro, thanks.
