A proposed pirate Captain to be added as a core character.

This is still in the very early stages of simple character appearance design.

comments about what abilities would be cool and suit a pirate are welcome

all your comments are good ideas! i've really apprciated them, but sadly i've lost interest in Don't Starve lately so i'm not bothering to continure this dev until further notice, ty all for your input

you could work a bit on the character design. He could have a special sword, his leading stat could be hunger, his lowest stat can be sanity.

maybe can make wood leg and hook hand? something with bird? get drunk?

Love mr Creepsss ideas! Still waiting on the day I can play this toon. Perhpas a craftable cutlass sword w/ dmg similar to the tenticle spike but cooler graphics. Re mr Creepsss idea: Spending/gaining gold could impact sanity. Rain could also provide a sanity boost. Not sure how his desire for a boat would impact game mechanics other than the opportunity for hilarious custom dialogue. A pirate toon is ripe for great dialogue. If I undestand correctly this is unfinished but I'm still going to subscribe bc I love the idea/potential here!
