Starbase Alpha

Designed to be a permanent outpost in space, Starbase Alpha serves as a major crossroads for interstellar trade, and provides refueling for ships of all sizes. The starbase contains a cityscape on two levels, and supports a civilian population of 204, and cryo chambers for 26. In addition, the station also houses 11 oficers quarters and a crew of 72, which brings the total population to 313. Each civilian apartment is fuly furnished, with beds, kitchens, and bathrooms. The cityscape includes restaurants, bars, parks, a coffee shop, a bank and a gym. Roads connect the radial arms to the city center and allow inhabitants the ability to travel quickly from one sector to another via hoverbike or car on the main deck. Docking for ships includes a large landing pad, large hangar, small hangar with hangar bays for servicing smaller vessels and shuttle craft, and eight docking bays for large vessels and capital ships, each complete with its own airlock. The starbase also includes light armament as well, with missle systems to defend itself from attack.
