BlueG Programmable Radar Example

This world is an example of how to use the BlueG_Radar mod together with the programmable block to detect ships, asteriods, enemies, derelicts, etc.

In this example, all I do is have a programmable block on the mining ship update its antenna to display the coordinates from the radar system. Not very useful, I admit, but it is only meant to show how to use the radar system with the programmable block.

I chose to do so in the Easy Start world so there would be plenty of objects around.


Take ownership of the miner ship, load and save the programmable block (now necessary because of the most recent game update on 1/8/2015), and then hit trigger now on the timer block and it will start updating the antenna's name with the coordinates of anything it detects each frame

You will also want to adjust the beacon's range and set the appropriate option for the sensor to detect the right kinds of objects.
