If you want to survive you'll need to get some items.

As for clothes the most easy to find are:
-Raincoat (2x2);
-Cargo Pants (3x2);
-Wellies.

Raincoat pockets:
-Improvised Knife (1x1);
-Small Fish Trap (1x2);
-Worms [10] (1x1).

Cargo Pants pockets:
-Waterbottle/Canteen (1x2);
-Matchbox (1x1);
-Rags [6] (1x1);
-Alcohol Tincture (1x1);
-.357 Rounds [30] (1x1).

Weapons:
-Splitting/Firefighter Axe;
-Repeater.

If you appear near some major city you can try your luck there to get your items. Otherwise head to the closest village and begin search for clothes. It is usually not very hard to get Raincoat and Wellies but Cargo Pants can be hard to obtain from time to time.

Arm yourself with something and fend Zeds if necessary. If you find Pickaxe you can create Improvised Knife: mine stone from any boulder (hold pickaxe in your hands) and split it, hold small stone in your hands and find stony terrain (use small stone on it to get improvised knife). Otherwise you can usually find kitchen knives and use them for some time.

If you manage to get your hands on any kind of axe you consider yourself almost complete hermit. You just need to find two Waterbottles and make the Small Fish Trap from one (use knife on waterbottle). Shovel is usually easy to find - use it to dig some Earthworms. Grab some prestine Rags or Bandage. If you find Alcohol Tincture, grab it.

Before leaving civilized world take any Matchbox with you. Sometimes you can find Repeater and ammunition for it. IZH-43 or MP-133 are good choices too for hunting and selfdefense (add here that those ones can be found even at villages).

From here on you're on your own. Use small fish trap for some sardines, cook them on fireplace and get to villages at night to fill your waterbottle. You can additionally find some remote building and make it your base.
