Star Trek Themed Ship - USS Kharybdis

Beskrivelse
Another vessel in the spirit of my Star Trek Theming, the Kharybdis is built on a Chimera class chassis and is primarily a deep range exploration vessel. Fitted with a moderately sized hangar bay, complete with two light shuttlecraft, the Kharybdis would serve well as a mobile base for deep space exploration.

One of my reasons for building the Kharybdis was to have a ST themed ship, similiar to those found in my other collection, that was less mod intensive. I have greatly reduced the number of "non-essential' mods. This cuts down on stress, bloat, and load times. :)

I hope you enjoy the ship, and feel free to leave any constructive criticism.

Part I of my Star Trek Themed ship pack can be found HERE.

Part II of my Star Trek Themed ship pack (of which the Kharybdis is included in) can be found HERE.

If you're interested in my take on a small Elite:Dangerous ship that makes up for its ugliness with a big cargo hold, check HERE. ;)

Just to give an update, there is now energy shields as a mod!

ermahgawd so thin, in that scene in star trek:darkness- something the part with the "ERMAHGAWD UR NOT GONNA MAKE IT" this would've made it with room to spare lol.

Yeah, none of my vessels are very combat oriented. However, that being said, Star Trek lore has energy shielding, which SE does not, so you could at least 'imagine' better protection of the nacelle connections. In addition, I have made all the connections between ship and nacelle out of heavy armor. It's not much, but it would help.

Thanks for your comment! :)

I love the engine nacelles and the saucer section, but I gotta say the connecting parts looks way too fragile, I fear that this ship will break in seconds in any combat situation :(
It looks really well done though!
