There are five challenge tombs located all around the main hub. You can check their exact location by bringing up the map with the O button, the tombs are shown as stars on the map. By completing all the Challenge Tombs, you earn the „I love tombs!” achievement. This guide only applies to single player.

This tomb is located near the Shrine of Osiris, it can be stumbled upon easily just before crossing the bridge leading to the Khepri Amphitheater. It is probably the easiest one of all of them.

Your task is pretty straightforward: stand on all four pressure plates (the order doesn't matter) to open the gate leading to the next area. Be careful though, some spikes will activate and kill you if you’re too slow, so just keep moving until you reach a safe tile. If you die, you have to start over.



Once you reach the next area, do this all again, stand on the four pressure plates to open the gate blocking your way. Once it’s done, you can collect the Bolt Action Rifle and a Health Upgrade.

It is on the top left corner of the map, near the Khepri Amphitheater.

Stand on the greenish tile, press R to activate the Staff and raise the platform. Jump right towards the ball. Be aware that once you touch the ball, it becomes a timebomb and eventually it will explode. To prevent that from happening too soon, you need to keep the Staff active the whole time. Move the ball to the edge of the wooden platform, place a bomb next to it. Bomb the ball to the other side. Jump over there, roll the ball just before the fire and bomb it over.



Jump back above the spike pit and go through the line of columns. Jump to the other side, push the ball to the edge of the wooden platform again, place a bomb under it and bomb it to the other side. Jump after it, place it on the platform nearby, also put a bomb on the back of the ball.


Jump back over the spike pit again. You can reach the higher ground from the base of the statue. Go through, stand on the pressure plate to raise the block with the ball, and make your bomb explode, moving the ball towards you. Now push the ball to the weaker part of the wall and let it explode by pressing the R button again (deactivating the Staff). Collect your reward: a High Powered Assault Rifle and an Ammo Upgrade.



You can collect the gems opposite the tomb exit by pushing another ball next to the wall below the gems. Once it’s there, you can climb the ball and reach the gems.

This tomb is only accessible once you get past the watermill. It is near the Lamplighter’s Tomb, you have to jump on two columns to reach the entrance.

In this tomb you will find three orbs, nine mirrors, three pressure plates and a ball. Place the ball on the top left pressure plate and then stand on the platform in the down right corner. Shoot the mirror on the down left side and the gate will open. Collect your reward: the Automatic Shotgun, an Ammo Upgrade and some gems.

This tomb is also only accessible once you get past the watermill. It is next to the Ferryman’s Tomb, it can be opened with the Wheel of Fortune.

Go down the stairs and into the water, swim to the other side. Stand on the platform, raise it with the Staff and jump over. Go forward, you will find a small „island” surrounded by water channels. Jump to the island and jump on the dry part on the left side. Shoot the orb with your Staff.



Stand on the raisable platform, activate your Staff and jump over. Go around by jumping through using your grapple, leave the pressure plate under the ball that is closed off for now, jump over the water channel and shoot the orb. Stand on the pressure plate, by doing so, you release a timed ball. Activate your Staff immediately to slow down the explosion process. Go back to the pressure plate under the ball, it will clear the ball’s way. Let it go through and quickly go back to the small central island. (The current is pretty stong, the ball might fall to the wrong place and you may have to start over.)




From the island, jump over the upper channel and stand on the pressure plate to keep the ball going. Once it’s through, jump back to the central part, and jump over the channel on the left side. Let the ball through by standing on the pressure plate, then go back down towards the tomb exit, where the big pool of water was. Stand on the pressure plate again to let the ball through. Now you have to bomb it to the other side and push it to the vulnerable wall part. Let it explode by deactivating the Staff and collect the Dual Submachine Guns and some gems.




You will find another ball in there. Activate the Staff, push the ball to the side of the dry land and bomb it into the water. Get it to the other side, roll it up the stairs. Don’t push it up against the wall completely, it needs a little space. Place a bomb under the ball and bomb it to the upper platform. Climb up, push it next to the raised magic platform. Now you’ll have to be quick, you need to lower the plaform by deactivating the Staff so that you can place the ball on it. As soon as both the ball and Lara are standing on the platform, activate the Staff. Also place a bomb under the ball, jump over and bomb it to the other side. Quickly roll the ball over to the destroyable wall and deactivate the Staff. Collect the Health Upgrade inside.

It is located under the Architect’s Tomb. It can be accessed only in cold weather.

Jump over to the central part and place a bomb behind the ball. Jump back, stand on the pressure plate, activate your Staff and bomb the ball. Place it on the pressure plate and the way around will become clear. Go through with the Staff activated and collect the Heavy Grenade Launcher and the Health Upgrade.

A Sír Ozirisz Szentélyéhez közel esik, a Khepri Amfiteátruma felé vezető úton lehet megtalálni. Ez az egyik legkönnyebb Challenge Tomb.

Első Terem: a feladatod nagyon egyszerű - mind a négy nyomáskapcsolón (nincs rajtuk semmilyen jel) át kell haladnod egyszer (mindegy a sorrend), így megnyílik az út. Arra azonban vigyáznod kell, hogy gyors, de egyenletes tempóban haladj, mert amint rálépsz egyre, azonnal aktiválódnak a tüskék és felnyársalnak :) Ha meghaltál, elölről kell kezdened az egészet.


Második Terem: ússz tovább és egy kicsit nagyobb terembe fogsz jutni, ahol voltaképpen ugyanezt kell majd csinálnod, viszont kétszer ugranod is kell, figyelj rájuk.


Jutalmad a Bolt Action Rifle és egy Health Upgrade lesz.

Könnyen meg lehet találni, mert a Sír a térkép bal felső szélén helyezkedik el. Itt már nehezebb lesz a dolgunk.

A feladat: menj rá a felemelhető platformra, az "R" gombbal aktiválhatod Ozirisz Pásztorbotját, emeld fel és ugorj át. Az egész Tomb alatt aktiválva kell lennie (ami abban segít, hogy lelassítja az időt, így a golyó sokkal később fog felrobbanni), de ez semmiben nem akadályoz meg téged, mivel elég csak egyszer megnyomni. Aztán fogd meg a gurítható golyót és gurítsd el a kis fa palló széléig, állítsd meg és rakj alá egy bombát. Robbantsd át (magadat azért ne), majd ugorj át a másik oldalra.



Fogd meg a golyót és állítsd meg a tűz előtt egy kicsivel, majd használd megint a bombát az előzőekhez hasonlóan.



Ugorj vissza ott ahonnan jöttél, menj át az oszlopok között és megint ugorj át a másik oldalra. Járj el a golyóval a már megszokott módon és ugorj át te is. Az oldal végén lesz a fal előtt egy kis platform, arra told rá a golyót és tegyél alá egy bombát.



Azután ugorj vissza ott ahol jöttél és kicsit trükkösen, de ugorj fel a fal mellett található szobor talapzatára, onnan pedig fel tudsz kapaszkodni (figyelj a szögre).



Menj végig a másik oldalra és állj rá a nyomáskapcsolóra, ami felemeli a platformot. Most a bombával lődd át a te részedre a golyót, majd vezesd el a robbantható falig és tedd amit tenned kell.



Jutalmad a High Powered Action Rifle és egy Ammo Upgrade lesz.

Visszafelé menet lehetőséged van némi extra gem megszerezésére is. Nem lesz nehéz. Menj vissza a kezdő golyóhoz és aktiváld a botot, gurítsd le a golyót és vezesd a fal alá, mássz fel rá és kapaszkodj fel.

A Tomb of the Lamplighter sírjával van egyvonalban, picit nehezebb Sír.

Egy teremből áll az egész, ahol találni fogsz 3 fénygömböt, 9 tükröt, 3 nyomáskapcsolót és egy gurítható golyót. A megoldás: gurítsd a golyót a bal felső nyomáskapcsolóra, majd állj rá a jobb alsó nyomáskapcsolóra és a Pásztorbot segítségével lőj bele a bal alsó tükörbe.


Jutalmad az Automatic Shotgun és egy Ammo Upgrade lesz.

A Sír a Tomb of the Ferrymanhez van közel, mind közül a legbonyolultabb.

Ússz át a nagy vizes mederben, állj rá a platformra, aktiváld a botot és mássz fel.



Ugorj át a kis központi szigetre, onnan pedig balra, ahol a bot segítségével lődd ki a fénygömböt.



Azután menj a platformra, aktiváld a botot, menj végig és a csáklyád segítségével lendülj át a következő részig.



Menj tovább, ugorj át a kisebb részre és lődd ki a második fénygömböt.



Azután aktiváld a botot, ugorj vissza az előző részre, és állj rá a golyó alatti platformra, így a golyó a vízbe fog esni.



Most ugorj vissza, és állj rá a kapcsolóra, így lemegy az első rács, a golyó pedig a vizesárokban fog landolni.



Vigyázz, mert az áramlat nagyon erős és könnyen elsodorhat. Elképzelhető, hogy nagyot pattan a golyó és például a szigetre fog pattanni, akkor is meg lehet csinálni még, de lehet, hogy ki fogsz fogyni az időből és kezdheted az egészet újra. Itt van egy rövidítés: menj vissza oda, ahol legelőször felugrottál és menj át a két oszlop között, majd a végén mássz fel.

Rendben, ha a golyó jól landolt, akkor az áramlat az következő rácsig fogja terelni, de a felette lévő platformra állva tovább fog menni a golyó.



Ugorj vissza a központi szigetre, majd balra, ott ahol az első Fénygömböt lőtted ki.



Állj rá megint a kapcsolóra, így nyitva lesz az út és rövid időn belül a golyó le fog esni az első szintre. Időközben menj te is le és állj rá a vizes meder melletti kapcsolóra, így a golyó a mederben lesz.



Javasolt megvárni, amíg megáll valahol és úgy tenni egy bombát alá. Robbantad át a szigetre és gurítsd oda a robbantható falig.



Jutalmad a Dual Submachine Guns lesz.



Ha pedig a Health Upgradet is meg akarod szerezni, akkor először aktiváld a botot és a fegyver melletti golyót gurítsd el a medencéig, lődd bele a bombáddal és várd meg, amíg megáll, mert valószínűleg ezt a vízben is el kell ismételned, hogy sikeresen átkerüljön a túloldalra. Ha megvagy, akkor gurítsd fel a lépcsőn és a már jól begyakorolt robbantással juttasd fel a következő szintre a golyót.



Ugorj te is fel, majd gurítsd a golyót a platform bal oldalához, deaktiváld a botod, így a platform lejön - vigyázz az idővel! Gurítsd a platformra, tegyél alá egy bombát, aktiváld a botod, ugorj át és lődd át a golyót.



Innen csak a falhoz kell gurítanod és megszerezni az Upgradet.

A Sír a Tomb of the Architect alatt helyezkedik el, viszont csakis téli időjárással lehet eljutni ide, egyjátékos módban szintén egy könnyű Sír.

Először ugorj át a központi részre és tegyél egy bombát a golyó háta mögé, majd ugorj vissza. Lépj rá a nyomáskapcsolóra, így lejön a platform és robbantsd át a golyót az oldaladra. Aktiváld a botot és tedd rá a golyót a kapcsolóra, így megnyílik az út, amin végighaladva elérsz a célodig, viszont ne deaktiváld a botot, mert akkor hamar fel fog robbanni a golyó, elzáródik az út és mehet elölről. Jutalmad a Heavy Grenade Launcher és egy Health Upgrade.
